(part 2)

"Nola, Nola wake up!"

My body heaves up as my name is called out loudly, as well as my body shaking aggressively. Both of my baby blue eyes shoot open to see Glenn directly in my face, I flinch back in surprise. I groan as the sun burns my sensitive eyes, my hand instinctively rubbing them to get rid of the burn.

"God, Water-Boy, can't a girl get some beauty sleep 'round here?" I muttered annoyingly, I could hear Glenn scoff under his breath but then grab my shoulder tightly to grab my full attention.

My eyes slowly blinked open, squinting as they were still foggy, my eyebrows furrowed as I looked up at an anxious Glenn.

"Glenn? What is it?" I questioned worriedly, I slowly sat up straighter and pulled the blanket off my sweating body.

Since Lori, Rick, and Carl were staying in my room I decided to stay in the living room, sleeping on one of the couches. As I looked up, Glenn looked as if he was close to tears, his chest heaving up and down, his hands shaking.

"It's Randall— He escaped." Glenn quickly confessed. My eyes are wide at his words, I quickly stand to my feet and grab my scattered combat boots from the living room floor, quickly tying them onto my feet.

"How long?" I questioned him loudly as I hunched over my knees to tie my boots. Glenn could only watch me with his mouth gaped open in what looked like fear.

"Glenn, How long?" I repeated more sternly, my eyes now looking up at him as I successfully tied my black boots. Glenn takes a step back and struggles to find words, he licks his lips.

"I don't know..." He whispered slowly, almost embarrassed. I closed my eyes and breathed, fighting the urge to scream my lungs out. Who the hell was watching him? How did he even escape?

"God, damn it." I seethed out angrily.

Though my tone was harsh my anger wasn't necessarily directed towards Glenn by any means. I was pissed that Randall had somehow escaped from our hold, he couldn't have just slipped loose from his handcuffs— I know it.
