season 3, episode 2
(part 1)

My baby blue eyes were filled with tears as I stared up at the five men who were dressed up in prison uniforms. At first I thought the walkers had found another way in, but was surprised when one of the prisoners spoke, showing that he was in fact alive.

"Holy shit." He repeated, I let out a loud breath, noticing Daryl taking large steps towards them with his crossbow pointed in their faces.

"Who the hell are you?" He snarled in a demanding tone. Below me I could feel Hershel's blood flowing on the ground and through my fingertips, I turn around and notice the unconscious pale man's leg was spewing out blood.

"He's bleeding out," I thought aloud blankly, Rick turning his attention towards me, he noticed my shocked state and forced my hand onto the man's wound.

"We gotta go back!" Rick yelled out towards the rest of us, Maggie and Glenn stand from their spots and run over by me, placing their own hands on Hershel's leg to make sure he wouldn't bleed anymore.

From behind me so could hear Daryl ordering the prisoners to come from where they were hiding, I could hear their footsteps slowly walking towards us. I quickly turned my head, noticing one of the men holding a gun towards us.

In an instant I stood to my feet, tears flowing down my face from the unbearable shock that stained my mind. My hand quickly slipped my gun from my holster, pointing it towards the long haired man who had his gun on Hershel.

"Put your gun down, or God help me I will—"

"No one has to get hurt." Daryl interjected, noticing my fragile behavior. The long haired man pointed his gun at me as he noticed my threatening presence. Glenn then flew past us, running into the room the prisoners had walked from.

"Who the hell are you people anyway?" The longed haired man asked, looking between all of us confusingly.

"Don't look like no rescue team!" Another prisoner spoke, his mustache somehow at a perfect point. I squinted my eyes at the five men before me, they were waiting for a rescue team? Still?

A part of me was slightly threatened by the group, yet another part of me wasn't, they had no idea how much time had passed, they've been locked in here for months probably having no idea what was going on outside.

"If a rescue team is what you're looking for, don't!" Rick grunted out from behind me, I turned my gaze over to the man to see him and Maggie struggling to pick up Hershel. Without hesitation I slipped my gun back into my holster, quickly moving to help the two.
