season 3, episode 2
(part 2)

Rick, Daryl, T-Dog, and I were stood in front of the five prisoners, only a table keeping the nine of us apart. Many weapons were sat on the table, the five men took the hand weapons in their hands, observing them.

"Why do I need this, when I've got this?" One of the prisoners named Thomas said lowly, his hand showing us the small gun he had. I glared at the man, my jaw clenched as I fought the urge to jump over the table and strangle him.

"I mean you can, unless you want a whole shit ton of walkers to eat you— but hey, pick your choice." I rattled out in a sarcastic tone, Rick slowly turning his head towards me to shut me up, I ignore him.

As I stared into Thomas' eyes I could sense anger, he was most likely pissed off that I wasn't taking his "threatening" shit today. He didn't really scare me, I knew it'd be easy to take him and the others out, I just didn't want to.

I wish they would just leave, I mean who'd want to keep living in a prison they were forced into to begin with? Didn't make any sense to me.

"Noise attracts them. Really riles them up. Don't use it unless your back's against the wall." Daryl added, trying to distract the men from my previous words.

"We'll go in groups. Daryl will run point with T, I'll bring up the rear with Lia," Rick began, pointing his finger in my direction.

"Stay tight, hold formation, no matter how close the walkers get. Anyone breaks ranks, we could all go down, anyone runs off, they could get mistaken for a walker, end up with an axe in the back of the head." Rick continued, his eyes moving onto mine. I glanced away from his stare, looking down at the table below us.

"That's where you aim. These things only go down with a head shot." Daryl informed them. Thomas let out a soft scoff which caught my attention, I glared up at the man.

"Ain't gotta tell us how to take out a man." He threw back at us in a low tone, seeming as if he was trying to threaten us. I bit my lip trying to hold my laugh, I shook my head.

"Those things ain't men. They're... something else." I told the long haired man, he only stared at me, his eyes squinting slowly as if he was trying to figure me out.

"Just remember to go for the brain." Rick spit out rudely, turning on his heel to walk away from the five men. I quickly followed after him, more footsteps following after the two of us as well.
