Ear and throat pain

Athena knew something wasn't right when she walked back in the bedroom to find covering your face mostly your eyes even though the only light in the room was coming through the window "What's wrong baby?". You tried to talk but you couldn't from the pain in your throat that also made your ear hurt whenever you swallowed which made your ear painfully pop shaking your head instead leading her to come back with cold water, ibuprofen, and vitamin D gummies before leaving the room again coming back with soup and crackers which helped eased some of the pain along with cough drops that helped numb your throat when the pain was overbearing to handle being sure to take your allergy nasal spray before and after blowing your nose to clear your sinuses since your allergies made fluid drain in your head which caused you quite a bit of pain and problems from headaches, sinus infections, sore throat, ear infections, and migraines which left you miserable for three days or two weeks of they were really bad tearing up from the pain which breaks athena's heart handing you an ice cream bar which you slowly eat taking your time to swallow it so that it could ease the pain and slight swelling in your throat doing what she could to occupy your mind away from the pain which worked on and off hoping that it wasn't the start of strep throat, a buildup in your ear, or a fever remembering how bad sick you were last time almost taking you to the hospital when you didn't get better after two weeks but thankfully before a third one could go on you slowly got better. She helps keep your slightly warmer body temperature down with a wash cloth on your neck knowing that was the main part of the body responsible for body temperature gently massaging your temple to help with the small headache you began to have "It's okay I know you're not well" you lay in her lap after washing your face, blowing your nose and taking the nasal spray again, and cleaning out your ear just in case to make sure you didn't get it blocked up which happened the last time you had an ear infection melting to putty as she runs your head and neck falling asleep for two hours before waking up feeling a bit better with some of the pain now gone in your throat but still wearing glasses inside like before due your headache knowing immediately that it was your head draining rather than the start of an ear infection, strep throat, or a bug being spread that you ended up catching spending the evening watching movies while sucking on cough drops between sips of orange juice and eating yogurt until dinner was done.
