You smiled as you texted Hook while stretching backstage and running through your routine one last time wishing he could be at the competition to watch you especially for this dance you would be doing with him unaware of the meaning of this dance since you wouldn't tell him like you always did whenever you got a new dance to do even when he was on the road he always smiled when you'd tell him about your dances over a text or during a call together. Everything around you faded after taking a deep breath before walking out waiting for your music to begin immediately zoning out and falling into your routine as the truly beautiful and emotional piano music played followed by an enchanting voice singing and you felt like you were in a different world throughout your routine only hearing the music echoing around you and seeing the lights that illuminated over you almost in a ethereal way and it added to the emotion of your dance and the story behind it and that story was the love you had for hook, you walked to the team bus after the competition and awards ceremony surprisingly winning first place for your solo that was called "Forever you" which you named yourself and made a special tribute for hook and right as you sat down on the bus your phone dinged leading to you seeing a text from hook only to see a heart and the recording of your dance that your best friend Willow had sent him and the words "I'm so proud beautiful and I truly loved the dance, I love you baby" your heart swelled at those words as you responded with a heart and an I love you in return. A few hours later you got home in a daze ready to shower and head to bed until you heard a familiar voice immediately turning only to find hook eating the last bite of a banana before you ran to him jumping in his arms as he chuckled and caught you running his hand along your back under your shirt as you buried your head in the crook of his neck saying a muffled hi which he returned with a smile and another soft chuckle, "There's my beautiful girl, doing a dance just for me" the two of you went upstairs changing into tank tops and shorts before snuggling in bed together sharing a soft kiss as the two of you always did when you hadn't seen each other in a bit like you hadn't in the last five weeks due to your practices and him being on the road but now the two of you made up for lost time with kisses, snuggles, take out dinner, and movies the rest of the evening until the two of you were asleep in each other's arms.
