You knew something was deeply wrong when all you could see were dim shapes which normally were blinking lights or fuzzy images after taking a bump but this wasn't normal at all and you never had this happen throughout your career over the last six years even with the few worst injuries you had it was never this bad or worrying. Kris was backstage and she knew that you were truly hurt when you didn't stand up but she felt her heart sinks and knew that you were more hurt than everyone thought when you were loaded on a stretcher and immediately wheeled back leading to her running and jumping right in the ambulance before they rushed off straight to the hospital as her thoughts ran a million miles a second on the short ride which felt like an eternity, the tests seem to take forever as kris waited until the doctor had told her that you had a brain injury which made her burst into tears as she stood by your bedside gently caressing your face as you laid in bed blankly feeling like you had just lost everything that you had worked for. Once you were out of the hospital and the first bit of therapy everything seemed so slow for you which made you frustrated and wore you down over the first three weeks at home but by the fifth week you broke down truly broken and defeated with ever getting your career back and kris felt her heart being ripped out of her as she held you in her arms while you cried and cried, you went through the next month and a half of therapy showing a bit of progress with mobility and learning to redo certain things on your own before you began to show even more progress of your brain healing and after tons of impatient sessions begrudgingly working through each one you were finally given the clear to slowly begin training and four months later you were finally back in the ring.
