Symphony

When Skye texted you saying to wear something nice, you knew she definitely had something in mind for the day as you giggle before getting ready and eating. You smile when she walks in with flowers before the two of you were in the car listening to your shared playlist as you guessed and wondered what she had in store for the two of you while passing by shops, restaurants, a movie theater, and a bunch of other places throughout the city and town before stopping outside of a building only to see that it was a symphony theater making your eyes light up since she knew you had wanted to see a symphony for the past year after finding a random video of one playing the whole soundtrack for the Lord of the rings trilogy, the two of you sat down listening to the composer speak followed by the symphony playing old traditional music and well known music throughout time before your attention is captivated by what they play next. The first note of the flute plays and you knew the Japanese song immediately from how it pulled you in and the calm blur that washes over you as the only thing you focused on was every note from the beginning to end, skye melts seeing you lose yourself in each song played throughout the evening leading to the two of you walking out of the theater hand in hand with a big smile as the two of you stopped and ate at a local sea food restaurant before getting home where your nice clothes are swapped out for a fox onesie and skye in a panda onesie while watching movies and face time with Julia.
