Dad: Kaylee Kelly's outside
I ran downstairs and took my meds.
Kaylee: dad we got any painkillers? My heads banging
Dad: check the medicine basket
I looked and we had some aspirin
Kaylee: how many?
Dad: 2
I took it
Kaylee: thanks
Dad: you gonna be okay?
Kaylee: yeah
Kelly beeped outside
Kaylee: he's so fucking impatient
Dad: you best go before he wakes up the whole street
Kaylee: love you
Dad: love you too peach. I sent kelly your school work
Kaylee: yay thanks. Not doing it tho
Dad: if you don't do it you can forget movie night
Kaylee: urgh you're so boring
Kelly beeped again

I left and got in the car
Kelly: took your time
Kaylee: you're so fucking impatient dumbass
Kelly: you've got a lot of work to do
Kaylee: I know
We got to the firehouse and I sat at the squad table
Capp: you good?
Kaylee: mhm
Capp: Cruz is cooking if you want something
I ran through the firehouse and to the kitchen
Cruz: hey trouble
Kaylee: what are you making?
Cruz: breakfast burritos with some fruit and hash browns
Kaylee: yesssss oh man I missed your cooking
He gave me a plate and I put some fruit in a bowl
Cruz: enjoy kiddo
Kaylee: thanks Cruz
Everyone else came for there food and I sat with Kelly and Cruz
Cruz: you not got school?
Kaylee: I got suspended
Cruz: what'd you do?
Kaylee: got into a fight with Carl
Kelly: again! Has he got a crush on you or something
Kaylee: urgh god no. He's my brother
Kelly: he's your what?
Kaylee: yes turns out he's Monica's kid and there's like 5 more of them
Kelly: shit trouble
Kaylee: I know
I finished my food.
Kelly: you got your iPad?
Kaylee: shit I forgot
Kelly: my laptop is in my quarters you can do your work in there
Kaylee: thanks
Cruz: Kaylee you want me to make you any snacks
Kaylee: yes please
The alarms eventually went off
Kelly: Boden and Connie will be here if you need anything
Cruz: snacks are in the fridge and in that bag
Kelly: take it to my quarters and do your work. I'll be checking
Kaylee: alright dad
I rolled my eyes at him
Kaylee: dumbass
They left and I looked in the bag. There were some BBQ lays, goldfish, fruit snacks and some apple sauce. I looked in the fridge and he made a ham, cheese and chicken sandwich and some jello.

I took it and went to Kelly's quarters and started doing some of my work. I had my AirPods in and Zach FaceTimed me
Kaylee: hey
Zach: hey I called you yesterday
Kaylee: sorry I was helping out at med and fell asleep. How was your suspension?
Zach: alright but I have a meeting with Monroe in an hour before I can go to lesson. How are you? Did you sort things out with your dad?
Kaylee: I erm I did. Turns out Carl is my brother
Zach: that psychopath?
Kaylee: yep he's Monica's kid
Zach: damn
Kaylee: do you wanna come movie night tomorrow?
Zach: yeah sure
Kaylee: okay like 8?
Zach: okay yeah.
Kaylee: what are you doing?
Zach: nothing. You doing schoolwork?
Kaylee: yep and it's kicking my ass. It's so complicated
Zach: you want me to help you? Is it todays or yesterdays?
Kaylee: yesterday. you done it?
Zach: yep with my tutor
Kaylee: you have a tutor?
Zach: yeah whenever I'm suspended
Kaylee: fairs
Zach: what are you stuck on?
I FaceTimed him
Kaylee: maths, science, English. Everything
Zach: what are you working on?
Kaylee: maths?
Zach: algebra?
Kaylee: yeah
Zach: this is what my tutor wrote to help me
He showed me
Kaylee: thanks
I eventually finished it and we were doing science. He helped me with all my work and I didn't realise how much time went by
Kelly: hey
I jumped
Kaylee: ah kelly what the fuck?
Kelly: sorry
Kaylee: I finished my work
Kelly: mhm
Kaylee: really I did
He looked at my work
Kelly: looks good
Kaylee: Zach I gotta go
Zach: I'll see you tomorrow. I love you
Kaylee: love you too. FaceTime tonight?
Zach: yeah 'course
Call ended
Kelly: he's coming to movie night?
Kaylee: yeah
Kelly: cool
Kaylee: how was the call?
Kelly: it was a quick call kid fell into the lake
Kaylee: the kid okay?
Kelly: yeah
Kelly was doing a report
Kelly: you haven't eaten?
Kaylee: I forgot
Kelly: go have something please
I had a sandwich, fruit snacks and jello
Kaylee: can we have a sleepover?
Kelly: yeah. Ask your dad first

I rang dad
Dad: you okay?
Kaylee: yeah
Dad: what's up?
Kaylee: can I stay with kelly and will tonight?
Dad: sure if they say it's okay
Kaylee: thank you
Dad: what you been up to?
Kaylee: I finished my school work
Dad: all of it?
Kaylee: yeah yesterday and today
Dad: that's good. You eaten?
Kaylee: I forgot but kelly reminded me. How's work?
Dad: it's gonna be a long day. We have a big case. You gonna go home and get your stuff
Kaylee: just my iPad and meds
Dad: alright. If we're not home come and see us at the district
Kaylee: okay
Dad: love you peach
Kaylee: love you too dad
Call ended

Kelly: so?
Kaylee: dad said yes
Kelly: okay. You wanna give Will a call and tell him?
Kaylee: sure
The alarm went
Kelly: be good
Kaylee: mhm
Kelly: use my laptop to watch Netflix or something
Kaylee: alright
Kelly left and I phoned Will
Will: hey trouble
Kaylee: hi you working?
Will: yeah but I'm on break. You okay?
Kaylee: yeah kelly said we can have a sleepover? That cool?
Will: of course. You know you can start with us anytime. Jaxon would love to see you and I've got Owen for the weekend as well
Kaylee: alright
Will: I'll make some mac n cheese
Kaylee: with garlic bread?
Will: yeah I can do you some garlic bread
Kaylee: thank you
Will: your dad told me about the whole brother and sister situation. You wanna talk about it?
Kaylee: it's just weird. I've gone from being an only child to have like 5 siblings. 1 of them being a complete psycho
Will: are you gonna get to know them?
Kaylee: I don't know maybe. Fiona seems nice
Will: it's up to you. No one's gonna force you to do something you don't want to do.
Kaylee: yeah I know
Will: Jax got a new Lego set that he'll probably ask you to build with him
Kaylee: that's cool
We were just talking for ages until he had to go. I was watching a film and they all came back.
