Yet another Meeting Part 2

I read the plan and it looked good.
Hailey: if this doesn't work then I don't know what will
Jo: what do you think Kaylee?
Kaylee: yeah
Hailey: yeah?
Kaylee: what else do you want me to say?
Hailey: this is basically your last chance before you get expelled.
She was just on her phone
Hailey: I think we should call it a day
Jo: there was just one more thing. Her dyslexia plan. It's pretty much the same. We've brought in a dyslexia specialist who will work with Kaylee twice a week.
Kaylee: im going to the bathroom
Kaylee got up and left.
Hailey: im sorry about Kaylee it's just been a rough morning
Mr James: tell Kaylee to come and see me on Monday
Hailey: okay thank you
I shook their hands and went out to the car. Kaylee was stood there waiting
Kaylee: Can you hurry? I wanna see dad
I unlocked the car and got in. I started the drive to med
Hailey: you still feel weird?
No answer
I looked over and she was having an absence. She shortly came around
Hailey: you okay?
Kaylee: fuzzy
I pulled over and her body tensed before harshly convulsing. I took her seatbelt off and reclined the seat. After a few minutes she stopped seizing. I got back in and drove to med. As I pulled up Kaylee began to come around.
Kaylee: w-w
Hailey: it's okay take your time.
She just nodded
Hailey: you feeling better?
Kaylee: mhm head hurts
Hailey: we'll ask for some ibuprofen. You ready to go in
Kaylee: mhm
We got out the car and Kaylee was a bit off balanced as we made our way to the enterance. I put my arm around her waist just to keep her steady as she was walking. We walked into the ED.
Maggie: hey is everything okay?
Hailey: you have any ibuprofen?
Maggie: Will should have some
Hailey: you know where they are?
Maggie: neurology 3rd floor
Hailey: thanks
We walked to the lift and as we reached the 1st floor Connor walked in
Connor: hey trouble
Kaylee just put her AirPods in. Connor looked at me and I just shrugged
Connor: what's up with her?
Hailey: I don't know. Just one of them days I guess. She had 2 seizures on the way
Connor: how have they been?
Hailey: better she's having more good days than bad but she's more hyperactive than ever. Bouncing off the walls
Connor: you know we can watch her anytime?
Hailey: yeah thanks Connor
We reached the 3rd floor and got off. Kaylee walked straight to Jays room

Jay pov
I had just finished cognitive training and was now in the middle of physical therapy. Kaylee walked in and sat down
Jay: Mathew you mind if we take a break?
Mathew: I'll be back in 20 minutes
Mathew left and I sat beside her. She hugged me and just started crying
Jay: hey peach what's going on?
Kaylee: I don't know everything's just too much
Jay: you feeling overwhelmed?
Kaylee: I guess
I laid down and she laid with her head on my chest.
Jay: You wanna talk about it kiddo?
She just shook her head. I held her and she slowly drifted off to sleep. Hailey walked in and sat on the edge of the bed.
Jay: how's she been?
Hailey: really snappy and emotional. She had 2 seizures in the car
Jay: which explains why she's fallen asleep
Hailey: how's the appointment going?
Jay: it's okay but there's still lots to do before I can go back to work. We've been working on my memory and hand tremor. Mathew thinks after a couple more months I will be normal again.
We carried on talking when Kaylee began twitching. After a few seconds it stopped. Will walked in with some food.
Will: here. Eat it all
Jay: I'm not a baby
Will: said like a baby
Jay: fuck off
Hailey started laughing. I threw my fork at him and the movement woke up Kaylee
Kaylee: mmm
Jay: it's okay go back to sleep
Kaylee: my head really hurts
Will: here
He gave her some tablets and she took them
Jay: how was the meeting?
Kaylee: boring and pointless
Hailey: they've put together a behavior support plan to help. They said she's at risk of expulsion so this is essentially the last chance to see a change in her behaviour.
Mathew walked back in
Mathew: we've done enough for today so you can go home when you are ready
I felt fuzzy and I knew what was happening. I shook Kaylee awake.
Kaylee: what?

Hailey pov
Hailey: baby what's up?
Jay: f-fuzzy
Hailey: Kaylee I need you to go outside and get Connor and will
Kaylee left
Hailey: let's get you on your side baby
I helped him roll over and with a few minutes he started seizing. Will and Connor ran in
Hailey: it's only just started
Kaylee: oh my god dad!
Will and Connor was with Jay and I took Kaylee outside. She was beginning to panic.
Kaylee: what's happening to him?
Hailey: he's having a seizure
Kaylee: that looks scary.
Hailey: I know but it doesn't hurt him. Does it ever hurt you?
Kaylee: no I just feel achy after and my head hurts a little
Hailey: dads gonna be fine
Kaylee: I never realised how scary it looks. This is what it feels like for you and dad when I have a seizure?
Hailey: kinda
Will and Connor came out
Kaylee: is he okay?
Will: he's fine. He just needs some rest
Hailey: imma get food you coming Kaylee?
Kaylee: yeah I'll meet you there im just gonna go to the bathroom

Kaylee pov
I went to the bathroom then dad's room and he was asleep. I cuddled beside him and I just stayed here. I was falling asleep when I felt dad move
Dad: peach w-what doing here?
Kaylee: I always feel better after a cuddle from you so I thought that it would do the same to you
Dad: always peach
Kaylee: so are you gonna have more seizures?
Dad: possibly. Dr Abrams has given me some anti seizure meds so he's just trying to find the right dosage.
Kaylee: I hope the meds work for you
Dad: I hope they do too peach
Kaylee: I know I don't say this enough but I love you dad
Dad: I love you too peach
