Miss Kerry: I know but this will help you when it comes to studying for the SATs
Kaylee: I'm only a freshman
Miss Kerry: I know but learning these skills now will make everything so much easier

She gave me a bag and I went through it. There were overlays, folders, textbooks and revision things
Kaylee: I'm not gonna use this
Miss Kerry: and that's fine but I'm still gonna help you learn how to use it. Have you ever done revision before?
Kaylee: no I just never knew how to
Miss Kerry: well that's what I'm here for
Kaylee: I normally just read my notes the night before
Miss Kerry: and does that work?
Kaylee: No
Miss Kerry: so we're gonna find ways to help you
Kaylee: okay
Miss Kerry: what about mind maps? You can write key information
Kaylee: I can try it
Miss Kerry: you could also watch videos of the topics and break down the key points
Kaylee: okay
We started making some mind maps
Miss Kerry: makes it less overwhelming when it's just the important stuff
Kaylee: yeah it does
The bell rang and it was break
Kaylee: lesson tomorrow?
Miss Kerry: yes

I left and went outside to meet Zach and Tessa.
Tessa: hey girl

Zach pushed him and Carl being the psycho he is started beating him up. I grabbed Carl and punched him in the stomach

Mr James: Carl principals office! Kaylee with me now!

I walked with him and we went to his office.
Mr James: sit down and calm down
Kaylee: Carl does this bullshit all the time and no one does anything. Look what he did to Zach
Mr James: and he'll get in trouble for that and now so will you. Principal Monroe is gonna wanna speak to you now

We walked down to the office and dad was sat not looking too impressed. Zach and his mom were also here. Zach had an ice pack on his face.
Principal Monroe: Carl and his sister will be here shortly. I wanna know what happened
Kaylee: Carl was being the dick he always is
Dad: Kaylee
Kaylee: what he is. He does the same shit all the time and no one does anything about it. He started on me and Zach pushed him. Carl went psycho and beat the shit out of him so I grabbed Carl and hit him. The prick deserved it
Dad: Kaylee that's enough
Carl walked in with some lady. Dad tensed up so I looked at him weirdly

Dad: Fiona?
Carl: you know him?
Kaylee: you know her?
I noticed her look at dad who shook his head
Kaylee: what's going on?
Dad: can we handle this and we'll talk about it after?
Fiona: what has he done?
Mrs Doherty: he beat up my son
Principal Monroe: I understand it's not easy at home but he can't be taking it out on people at school.
Fiona: you're suspending him?
Principal Monroe: yep for 2 weeks
Fiona: you proud of yourself? Now I have to take time off work to look after your dumbass
Carl: I'm 14 I can stay home alone
Fiona: no you can't and you know that
Carl: you're not my mom
Fiona: no I'm not but I'm the closest thing you got
I noticed dad's face change. He knows something. I looked at him and he just looked away

Dad: not now
Kaylee: I'm suspended I don't care. Now tell me what the fuck is going on
Dad: this isn't the place or the time
I looked at Fiona
Kaylee: how do you know my dad?
Fiona: I erm I've seen him at the alibi

Principal Monroe: I think you should step outside
Kaylee: fuck off
I turned back to dad
Kaylee: since when do you keep things from me?
I ran out the room

Jay Pov
I went to go after her but Zach stopped me.
Zach: I'll go
Zach left
Principal Monroe: Zach is suspended for 2 days and Kaylee is suspended for 6 days
Jay: why does she get a week?
Principal Monroe: this isn't the first incident with Carl. They've been in here more times than I can count
Mrs Doherty: if that's all I think I should go.
She left
Fiona: does she know?
Carl: does she know what?
Fiona looked at me and I nodded
Fiona: Kaylees your sister
Carl: What?! How?
Jay: I met your mom when I was 16
Carl: how old was mom?
Jay: in her 30s
Fiona: mom never told him about us which is why you didn't know about eachother

Fiona: I was about 11/12 when Monica met Jay

Carl: Lip, Ian, Debbie and Liam

Fiona wrote it down and gave it to me. I left the office and went looking for Kaylee.

I went to the basketball court but she wasn't there.
Coach Evans (Ryan): you okay?
Jay: you haven't seen Kaylee have you?
Ryan: no is everything okay?
Jay: I don't know. I've messed up and now she's gone off.
Ryan: you tried Archie?
Jay: no
Ryan: his office is down the hall and to the right

I went to his office and knocked on the door
Archie: come in
I walked in and Kaylee was laid on the couch

Archie: she came round and just fell asleep

We walked out to the car and I got in and faced the window
