Story of a 14 yr old girl whose trying to live a normal life whilst living with epilepsy. How will she cope with the stress of school, medical issues and life?
Kaylee: you guys need to leave we need to get the house ready Hailey: fine. We'll go to wills Dad came over and kissed my head Dad: be good peach okay Kaylee: mhm The doorbell rang and Erin walked in. Dad: you taken your meds? Kaylee: mhm He gave me a questioning look Kaylee: I did I promise. I don't want to ruin today like I ruin everything else Dad: peach Kaylee: what it's true. We couldn't go to Jaxons party because I was in med. We missed out on Freddie's football final because I was having a bad day of seizures. We miss out on loads of family events because of me Hailey: don't be too hard on yourself kiddo. You can't help it and no one holds it against you. Today is gonna be amazing and you know why? Because of all the hard work you have put in She gave me a hug Erin: we really need to get started. We've big loads to do Dad: yeah yeah we'll go They left Erin: we got a lot of work to do Kaylee: I spoke to Zach and Tessa and they said they would help. They'll be like 10 minutes Erin: okay. So the delivery of the balloon arch is gonna be here. The stage was delivered yesterday and put into the garden. There's a guy coming with the fireworks Kaylee: how is that gonna work? Erin: we'll control it with a button Kaylee: cool I got a message on my phone

They came through the back Zach: Erin what can we do? Erin: we have caterers turning up any second now. Set up the tables and lay down the tablecloths. Then guide the caterers to the table and help if needed Zach: okay Zach and Tessa were helping with the tables.
Erin pov Kaylee dropped a box and her face was twitching and her hand was jerking. I went over and sat her down. I held her other hand and was squeezing trying to bring her back round. Erin: Kaylee kiddo She was still seizing. After nearly 5 minutes she came back around. Kaylee: im sorry Erin: kiddo there's nothing to be sorry about. Go and take a break okay. There's nothing left for you to do. I'm still waiting for everything to be delivered. Kaylee: im sorry Erin: don't be so hard on yourself kiddo Kaylee: I still wanna help. I want this to be great. They deserve the best Erin: how about you help with tables? Kaylee: okay She went over to Zach and Tessa. The deliveries arrived and the guys were helping set up. After a couple hours we were finally ready. I went over to look at the food Hailey: you did good Zach: thanks Erin: where's Kaylee? Zach: she went inside. I don't think she's having a good day. She seems really off Erin: I know hopefully she just needs some rest Zach: what now? Erin: everyone's gonna be arriving soon. As I said that Jay and Hailey walked in

Infront of the stage had 'baby Halstead' on clear boxes with blue and pink balloons inside. Jay: oh my god Erin. This looks amazing. Erin: thanks but I couldn't have done it without my helpers I looked at Zach and Tessa but I couldn't see Kaylee Jay: where's trouble? Erin: she seemed kinda off today. She had a seizure. It lasted a little over 5 minutes. She was beating herself up about it and refused to rest. Jay: I'll go check on her I went into the living room and she wasn't here so I went up to her room and knocked on the door Jay: hey peach can I talk to you? Kaylee: leave me alone I walked in and Kaylee was laid in bed with her back towards the door. I sat on the edge of her bed and she just hugged me crying Jay: what's going on peach? Kaylee: I hate it. I hate my brain. I just held her whilst she cried Jay: hey no more crying okay. This is supposed to be a happy day. Let's go see if you're having a brother or sister Kaylee: I hope it's a boy. Girls are bitchy I just laughed at her Jay: you ready? Kaylee: mhm We went downstairs and hailey came over Hailey: is everything okay? Jay: everything's fine We went outside and everyone was here. Kaylee went over to Zach who just held her and kissed her on the cheek. Erin: are we all ready? All: yeah Me and Hailey was on the stage Erin: 5-4-3-2-1!

Freddie pov I was sat on the grass and Kaylee sat next to me. Kaylee: you okay? Freddie: yeah you? Kaylee: mhm She seemed kinda off. Kaylee: you gone to see Calvin yet? Freddie: not yet. When Connor is next off work we'll go Kaylee: what's he like? Freddie: Connor says he's a good guy. Respectful. Funny. I don't really remember him. Kaylee: well maybe he will be back in your life Freddie: maybe. What about your mom? Kaylee: I don't need her. I have Hailey who's 10x the mom Monica will ever be. Freddie: has she got other kids? Kaylee: yeah Freddie: would you ever want to meet them? Kaylee: I don't know. I do but s-sc-sc feel bad Monica Freddie: Kaylee? Her whole body tensed and she fell to the floor. Her arms were jerking and her face was violently twitching. I looked around and I couldn't find anyone until I saw Connor Freddie: Connor! He came over. The seizure only lasted a couple minutes before it stopped. Kaylee came around within minutes and was up and talking Connor: how you feeling? Kaylee: okay Connor: let's go find your dad Kaylee: no Connor please. I don't want to ruin their day. I don't want him to worry about me Connor: fine but you have another one and I'm telling him Kaylee: thanks Connor
