I Can't Be Selfish With You

This Story is about Hosie as Delena from Episode 2x08 (TVD). Hope is Damon and Josie is Elena.

Josie comes out of her bathroom into her room and sees Hope sitting at her windowsill.
Hope has something in her hand, but she can't see it. Her gaze wanders upwards from the object to Josie's eyes.
"Cute PJs," says Hope with a slight smile.
Josie stops on her way towards the bed and looks at Hope in shock.
She sighs softly and replies "I'm tired Hope." Hope stands up, walks over to her and holds the object up for Josie to see, "I brought you this"
It's the talisman.
Josie's eyes widen. "I thought it was gone."
Hope shakes her head.
Josie smiles and says, "Thank you, Hope."
She reaches for the talisman but Hope pulls it back to her.
"Please give it back." asks Josie.
Hope shakes her head again getting emotional,
"I just have to say something."
Josie takes a step back, "Why do you have to say it with my necklace?"
Hope squints her eyes slightly, "Well...because what I'm about to say is...probably the most selfish thing I've ever said in my life."
"Hope, don't go there." Josie pleads again.
Hope approaches Josie. "No. I just have to say it once. You just have to hear it."
She is now standing right in front of Josie and can practically feel her nervous breathing.
Hope hesitates at first but then gathers her courage. "I love you, Josie. And it's because I love you that...I can't be selfish with you...Why you can't know this. I don't deserve you...but Penelope does."
Josie is speechless at Hope's words.
She closes her eyes as Hope kisses her gently on the forehead.
Josie opens her eyes again and looks directly at Hope's lips, but she is interrupted as Hope continues, "God, I wish you didn't have to forget this." She gently strokes Josie's cheek and begins to manipulate her.
"But you do." A tear falls from Hope's eye.
When Hope is finished, she disappears at vampire speed, leaving Josie in her room with no memory of the moment.
