The karaoke bar buzzed with excitement as the Supersquad settled into their corner booth. Neon lights flickered overhead, and the room was alive with laughter, music, and the occasional off-key singing. It had been Lizzie's idea to spend the evening here, and surprisingly, everyone had agreed.

"Okay, this place is kinda cool," MG said, looking around with a grin.

"Let's see how you feel when it's your turn to sing," Kaleb teased, nudging him.

Hope sipped her drink, her eyes subtly drifting toward Josie. She looked effortlessly beautiful tonight, her laughter lighting up the room.

As the group chatted, two guys sauntered over, stopping directly in front of the table. They were both tall, with overconfident smirks that immediately put Hope and MG on edge.

Kaleb leaned back in his seat, raising an eyebrow. "Can we help you two?"

The taller of the guys ignored him, his gaze fixed on Josie and Lizzie. "You can't," he said smoothly, "but these two lovely ladies might be able to."

The second guy chimed in, grinning. "We couldn't help but notice you from across the room. Mind if we join you?"

Lizzie rolled her eyes. "Actually, we do mind."

But the guys didn't take the hint. Instead, one of them leaned in closer. "Aw, don't be like that. Why don't you sing us a song? Bet you two hit all the high notes."

Josie and Lizzie exchanged a knowing look. Lizzie's lips curled into a smirk. "You want a song? You'll get one."

She stood up, sauntering toward the stage. "Stay right there," she called over her shoulder. "We'll give you a performance you won't forget."

Josie rose as well, her smirk matching her sister's. As she walked past the guys, she gently pushed them into two empty chairs near the stage. "Enjoy the show," she said sweetly, her tone dripping with sarcasm.

Hope watched Josie with wide eyes, her stomach doing a strange flip. She clenched her fists, the jealousy bubbling under her calm façade. MG, sitting beside her, wasn't doing much better, glaring daggers at the two guys.

The opening notes started to play, and Lizzie grabbed the first microphone.

-Take A Hint by Victorious-

L:  Why am I always hit on by the boys I never like. I can always see 'em coming, from the left or from the right

Lizzie sang, her voice confident and commanding as she strutted across the stage.

Josie joined her, taking the second mic with a grin.

J:  I don't want to be a priss, I'm just try'na be polite. But it always seems to bite me in the

L:  Ask me for my number, yeah, you put me on the spot

J:  You think that we should hook up, but I think that we should not

L:  You had me at "hello", then you opened up your mouth

J:  And that is when it started going south
Oh!

Both:  Get your hands off my hips, 'fore I'll punch you in the lips.
Stop your staring at my hey!
Take a hint, take a hint
No you can't buy me a drink, let me tell you what I think.
I think you could use a mint
Take a hint, take a hint
T-take a hint, take a hint

L:  I guess you still don't get it, so let's take it from the top

J:  You asked me what my sign is, and I told you it was "stop"

L:  And if I had a dime for every name that you just dropped

J:  You'd be here and I'd be on a yacht
Oh!

Both:  Get your hands off my hips, 'fore I'll punch you in the lips
Stop your staring at my hey!
Take a hint, take a hint

Josie belted, shooting a pointed look at the guys, who were now shifting uncomfortably in their seats.

No you can't buy me a drink, let me tell you what I think
I think you could use a mint
Take a hint, take a hint
T-take a hint, take a hint

L:  What about "no" don't you get?

J:  So go and tell your friends

Both:  I'm not really interested

L:  It's about time that you're leavin'

J:  I'm gonna count to three and

L:  Open my eyes and

Both:  You'll be gone

The two walk towards the boys, who slowly get up from their chairs, ready to leave the karaoke bar.

J:  One

L:  Get your hands off my

J:  Two

L:  Or I'll punch you in the

J:  Three

L:  Stop your staring at my hey!
Take a hint, take a hint

Both:  I am not your missing link
Let me tell you what I think
I think you could use a mint
Take a hint, take a hint
Take a hint, take a hint

L:  Woah!

Josie pushes both of them towards the exit with a smirk on her face.

J:  Get your hands off my hips, 'fore I'll punch you in the lips
Stop your staring at my hey!
Take a hint, take a hint

Both:  T-take a hint, take a hint

The Supersquad cheered, Kaleb and MG hollering loudly. Even Hope couldn't suppress a proud smile as Josie absolutely owned the stage.

By the time the song ended, the entire bar was applauding, and the two guys looked thoroughly embarrassed.

Lizzie and Josie grin m as they wave them goodbye while the two boys run outside.

The sisters returned to the table, high-fiving as they slid into their seats.

"That was incredible," Kaleb said, grinning from ear to ear.

"Absolutely iconic," MG added, still chuckling.

Hope leaned closer to Josie, her heart still racing from the performance. "You were amazing up there," she said softly, her voice warm.

Josie glanced at her, her cheeks slightly pink. "Thanks, Hope."

The night continued, but the energy between Hope and Josie lingered, unspoken but electric. For Hope, it was a reminder of just how much she admired—and maybe even loved—Josie. As the group laughed and celebrated, she promised herself that one day, she'd find the courage to tell her.
