But when he activates it, it malfunctions. Jack gets mad at him and tells everyone to clean the place, then he fires them all afterwards. Porter feels guilty because now he feels that because of him, everyone got fired. At the end, he is re-hired, along with the others. They are all confused why Jack is now nice all of a sudden, but they're happy to be back.
