Short Bio:
Moon's actual purpose is unknown, it's likely he's meant to put kids to sleep, and catch any who aren't. Due to his costume being PJ's. Moon is an evil version of Sun. He gives children nightmares. When the building's lights go out, Sun turns into him and is free to roam the building. Moon can be held by strings and "fly" around the building. He can be distracted also by knocking items over. It is theorized Sun/Moon was in Moon form when Vanny controlled the animatronics, and that's why Sun is nice and Moon isn't. It's said he appears at the end of every hour, but he only appears 5 times, rather than 6, likely because some points of the game have Gregory in locations he can't just appear in.

There is a prize food in this game called Moon Drops. Which has led some to believe he may have existed before Security Breach.

Moon appears when the lights go out in the Daycare. He crawls around looking for Gregory. If he sees him in the play structure, he will crawl inside of them and follow him until Gregory loses him. When he says "good night" it's when he's about to kill you. When the lights come back on, Moon disappears. But he comes back when Gregory and Freddy try to escape the daycare, the only way to escape him is to find a recharge station. It's not too difficult as you can just stay in Freddy, and a charge station is almost always near by. He appears again when taking Freddy to Parts and Service, when you get to the charge station, Gregory has to get in to hide, and meanwhile, Freddy gets knocked out and Moon drags him away, as he waves to Gregory. Why he did this, is...kinda unknown. While you won't really encounter him, he appears again when fixing Freddy in Parts and Service, all you have to do is leave the room or go to a charge station in the other room. The next time he appears is when grabbing a party pass from Chica's green room. A recharge station is behind Chica's room, so you can go in there instead of walking all the way to Freddy's room. You can also just call Freddy. The final time he appears is in 5AM. Where you must make it to the exit of the building. If you get out of Freddy, Moon will kill you. This is his last appearance. After 6AM, he's just gone now.
