Short Bio:

Maya is a girl who was celebrating her birthday at Freddy Fazbear's Mega PizzaPlex. She wanted to try the AR Game but then gets trapped in a fake reality. Maya is overall a caring person, as when her "family" and "neighbors" get sick, she takes care of all of them. She is also nice. She doesn't complain about getting small birthdays, but she does wish she could have a big one too. 

Tales from the PizzaPlex #1:

In the 3rd story, Maya is celebrating her 16th birthday, although a day before her actual birthday. At first, she didn't want to go to the Mega Pizzaplex because she thought it was childish. But her friend, Jaxon, convinced her to go because he mentioned the AR game, which she found interesting. The AR game can make her have the birthday she always wanted. When they get to the attraction, it's under construction, but that was the whole reason she came here so she sneaks inside. When she and her friends get there, Maya finds the AR headset, when she puts it on, she's sitting at a table surrounded by everyone. All the customers, employees, and the animatronics were all celebrating her, and even her family and neighbors were there, everyone was happy, even if they usually aren't. Glamrock Chica brings her a big birthday cake, and then her and Jaxon dance, she loved everything about it. Once she had enough, she takes the headset off and continues her day...or so she thought. Throughout the book, Maya keeps feeling a headache on her head where the AR headset was. Eventually, she celebrates her "actual" birthday, and once again, her friends and neighbors show up, albeit for a small party as always. Her grandma gives her a necklace, which she hangs onto for the whole story. Eventually, tragedy strucks, her grandma gets cancer and doesn't live, then her grandpa gets it, then her other two grandparents get it, then her aunts and uncles get it, and then her next door neighbors. She doesn't know what's causing this. When she goes to school, some girls talk about their mom getting cancer like it's nothing, which Maya is mad about. She tells her friends about it and Jaxon says his mom also has cancer, like it's nothing. Maya is concerned why everyone is acting like it's normal, and Jaxon says everything IS normal. Maya's teacher, Mrs. Carpenter gets a new baby which she goes to visit, when she sees it, it has no face, and it looks translucent. Maya freaks out about this, but everyone acts like it's normal. Eventually, Maya's parents and then sister also get cancer, along with the Davis' across the street, and the family she babysits for, and her little cousins. Since her cousin's parents are now dead, they come to live with Maya. Eventually, Jaxon also gets cancer and his mom dies so Maya takes care of him too. These weird faceless creatures keep showing up, as if they're the cause behind all the cancer, they also keep growing faster than an average human. Mrs. Carpenters baby went from baby, to full grown child. Eventually, the parents of the kids she babysits dies, so she takes care of the kids, although they don't come to live with her, and then two of them die. Maya's parents then die too. Eventually, the only remaining people left are Maya's favorite cousin, Axel, her other cousin, Abril, her sister Elena, Jaxon, one of the kids she babysat, Donny, and the Davis' twins across the street. Eventually, Axel also dies. Maya can't take it anymore and she wonders why everyone but her is getting cancer. She realizes she may still be in the game, as everything seems to be centered around her, just like in her fake birthday. She goes and checks on Elena, but the weird faceless creatures are breaking in, she tries to save Elena, but she had already passed, so she leaves her behind and goes downstairs into the garage. She keeps waiting to die, but it never comes, as if the game is glitched.
