History:
Dan is Billy's father. He is said to look a lot like him, especially when Billy becomes an adult. Dan left Billy and his mom after Billy turned 9 and he was still acting like an animatronic. He called him a freak.

History:
Dr. Lingstrom is Billy's doctor who helps Billy and his mom out. She takes care of him and tries to get him to think normally again. She still sticks around for years and goes to Billy's 17th birthday. She tells Vera to get help already but she refuses to. She presumably stops contact with them after this as after Vera dies, it is mentioned Billy doesn't have her to talk to anymore.

History:
Doc is a shady doctor who works in an abandoned building. When Billy wants to become an animatronic, he helps him by cutting his limbs off and replacing them with robotic parts. When Billy wants to reverse it all, he laughs at him, tells him good luck, and he hangs up.

History:
Norma is nurse who works with Doc. She takes care of Billy as he's healing and recovering from his surgeries, especially when he loses his legs and can't drive himself.

History:
Maliah is a girl Billy meets online for people who want to change themselves. Maliah tells him she wants face surgery, which gives Billy that idea too. When she first meets him in real life, she hopes he's not insane. She falls in love with him and thinks he's cute rather than creepy. As Billy gets his surgeries, she thinks his white in his eyes being gone is kind of cool, but hates when he changes his face cause he doesn't look cute anymore. Then Billy cuts his tongue off and Maliah stops coming over. He talks to her on the phone, but she doesn't sound so enthusiastic about it. She completely cuts contact with him when he invites her to his 21st birthday and tells her he wants to be called "B-7" now.
