Matt is egotistical and selfish and he is also very rude and unlikeable. He thinks of himself as a really good game developer despite the fact he can't beat his own creation. It is theorized by some that Matt is meant to be Matt Pat...it's mostly a joke theory saying Scott made an mpreg story about Matt Pat.

Matt appears in the 2nd story of this book. In this story, he is developing the new Five Nights at Freddy's VR game. In this game, he tests out Springtrap, and he keeps losing to him which angers him. Matt lives with his roommate Jason, who says he planned a double date for them. When Matt gets to the date, he is disappointed to find out the beautiful girl is actually Jason's date, and the less attractive one is for Matt. Matt mocks her and isn't into her at all and tries to get Jason's date to fall for him, which makes her uncomfortable. As days go on, Matt is getting...bigger for some reason and he doesn't really mind it much. Jason finds out what Matt did so he decides to move out and Matt doesn't care. Matt goes on another date with a girl, but tells her he doesn't care for her as she looks bigger than in her picture. The girl is rightfully offended as Matt looks MUCH bigger than her and also looks much bigger than he does in HIS picture. Before Matt leaves the place he met her at, his button pops and the girl mocks him. Matt realizes something is inside of him, so he goes home, grabs a knife and stabs himself, cutting himself opened to release the thing inside him. It turns out it is a mini Springtrap.
