Short Bio:

Mandy is a high school girl who loves video games and especially FNAF, the VR game. She likes being apart of the FNAF online community and her real life isn't as good. She gets bullied at school a lot and tells no one about it, and her parents are always working, with her mom usually out of state. Mandy is also kind of like a detective, as she wants to find out what is happening in the story.

Mandy appears in the second story. In this story, she loves how people are able to look through the FNAF game code/files and find secrets, so she decides to do so herself. When she starts searching, she finds a picture of a warehouse and gets excited about it. She posts it online but nobody believes it's real because they can't find it. Mandy decides she will take a screenshot of the picture in the files, but when she went to look for it, it was gone. She takes her original image and eventually tracks down that the room is in Utah, which is convenient for her because that's where her online friend, Lindy, lives, and where her mom is going for on a business trip. Throughout the book, Mandy keeps seeing a boy with a red shirt and blue shoes everywhere, even having nightmares about him. She goes with her mom and meets up with Lindy, then they head to the old movie theater warehouse thing that was in the files. They find out the theater used to be a restaurant called Sideshow's, and it was closed down because a boy went missing and they had a suspect nicknamed, "the Purple Man." Mandy realizes this investigation may solve some FNAF lore. So she goes inside the theater to ask for question. She meets Jim, an employee and he tells her about the missing boy and the investigation. Mandy decides to check out the backroom, and he allows her to. When she checks it out, she finds the old Sideshow animatronic sitting back there. Then, the boy appears to her again and she realizes that he's the missing boy. The boy goes by the Sideshow animatronic, Mandy thinks he wants her to look inside it. When she looks inside, she is horrified, there, was the boy's body. The police comes and Jim thanks Mandy for finding the boy, and the kid's mom even thanks her, now the small town is at peace cause they know what happened to him now. Mandy is left speechless, all she wanted to do was solve the FNAF lore, but then she learned to separate fiction from reality. She falls into shock and feels bad she couldn't share anything online. She opens up to her parents about how her life at school is, how she wishes her brother never died, and how she just wanted to fit in badly. After this, Mandy stands up to the school bully, and her parents work on being with her more often. At the end, she gets a knock at the door, and the boy is there. He thanks her for finding him and then tells her that her brother says hi. There's a bit of a meta joke in which Mandy wonders what a ghost boy and an animatronic inside a suit has to do with FNAF, because in-universe, no one knows that the missing kids were stuffed into the suits.
