Short Bio:
S.T.A.F.F. bots is assumed to stand for Security Tech At Freddy Fazbear's, although the name is not confirmed. These bots were made to replace real humans and they do a number of jobs all around the pizza plex. In the game, an all staff meeting is shown to be a thing here, and it is implied/believed that somehow, the entire staff was killed and their souls are now inside the S.T.A.F.F. bots, and Vanessa is the only real security guard because she (Vanny) did it to them. S.T.A.F.F. bots appear throughout the game, some are nice, and some hunt you down, some kill you...though those ones are on a different page.

S.T.A.F.F. bots are all over the game. So I will list them in order of appearance.
Mop Bots
The first one we see is the mop bot in the under ground tunnels, however, you can't approach it because it's behind a gate that can only be broken with Monty's Claws. The mop bot is a cleaning bot who has a mop and wipes the floor, if you go near it, it will tell you to leave, if you don't leave, and continue bugging it, it will call for an animatronic and one will appear next to it and if it doesn't see you, it will stand by it, almost like the animatronic is asking what they saw. When you get to the lobby, another cleaning bot appears surrounded by wet floor bots. This is where you can actually encounter it, and most players don't realize they do anything. The next time you see these mop bots are in El Chip and The Prize Counter, walking around, they are also in the laundry room in the loading dock mission.
Generic Bots
In the main tunnels, there are some bots underground surrounding a broken bot, you cannot access them. A bit later, where Freddy leaves you to go off on your own, there is a gate where bots are seemingly training as they walk around in a circle, if one sees you, they will go up to the gate and just stare at you. There are many other broken S.T.A.F.F. bots scattered throughout the whole game.
Harmless Bots
In the atrium, there is a chef bot which doesn't do anything, it just sits there waiting for the next day to begin, it moves a bit, but otherwise, harmless. Another chef bot appears when making pizza for Chica. This bot tells you what to do and then gets attacked by Chica when the pizza is ready. When we go into the kitchen, this bot is not there so we can only assume Chica ate it. In Bonnie Bowl, there are Circus Baby bots. Circus Baby bots are ice-cream bots. They give out ice-cream and they look like Baby, with the red outfit, rosy cheeks, and pig-tails. In universe, they are likely actually meant to represent her rather than just being a small reference. There are also construction worker bots in Roxy Raceway, they don't do anything, they just wear hard hats.
Party Bots
Party Bots stand at the doors of the more exclusive areas of the pizza plex. They are purple and harmless, they hold out a sign so you can give them a ticket. There's two at Fazer-Blast and Monty Golf, you need a party pass so they can let you through. In Mazercise, you need a Mazercise Pass, and in the East Arcade, you need a Dance Pass. Roxy Raceway does not require a pass for some odd reason. When you give them a pass, they will throw confetti, then they will dance and look down at you and then leave. If you follow them, they eventually just disappear into nothingness. If you visit all 4 party places, they will technically then disappear from the game forever.
Theme Bots
"Theme Bots" as I'm calling them, are bots who appear in specific areas. The first one is one is Comedy Bot who appears in the Daycare Theater, they tell many jokes that are somewhat creepy. One joke it makes involves parents leaving a "little Jeremy" alone, which has led fans to believe it's a clue on what happened to MCI Jeremy. The next bot that performs after it is the Magician Bot, and an audience bot who replies, there are male and female voices as the audience. In Fazer Blast, a bot appears who tells you the rules of the game, they are a trained doctor they say. When you enter the game, many bots will be around with a gun and a helmet, you must defend your flags from them. They can explode if you win, and if you shoot them while they randomly find you, they will keep their head down and stroll away. In Roxy Raceway, there are driver assist bots who help kids too small to drive the karts alone. Roxy always destroys these if they beat her in a race.
Afton/Funtime Bots:
In the underground tunnels, there is a secret S.T.A.F.F. bot family dinner, they all sit at a dinner table. Some have interpreted as it being the Afton Family. A less popular theory is that they are the Funtimes. The Circus Baby bot being Baby/Elizabeth. The magician bot being William or Funtime Freddy due to it being the leader, and Freddy being like a show off of some type. There is a server bot believed to be Michael due to the security guard type uniform, and Funtime Foxy because....it's the only one left. The one without a head would be CC because he got his head bit, for the Funtimes it would be Ennard because it's broken. The last one is the nanny bot who is blue with a dress and blue hair, that being Mrs. Afton as it's the only other female, and it's Ballora. This bot led people to believe Mrs. Afton may be in charge or serve a great purpose as she's in the middle of the table. Also, because the bot is blue, it's lead to people to believe this indirectly confirms Ballora Afton. (The theory that Mrs. Afton possesses Ballora and/or Ballora was modeled after her).
