Short Bio:

Joel is a dumb jock. He plays football and is friends with Adrian. Joel is very selfish and self centered. He doesn't care much about the others. He thinks Lucia and Jayce are weirdos/nerds, he questions why Adrian hangs out with them, he pretends to like Wade but really doesn't, and he sort of doesn't notice Kelly and kinda liked an idea she had, but he still doesn't like her either. He never really shared his opinion on Hope and Nick but we can assume he doesn't like them either. 

Tales from the PizzaPlex #1:

Tales from the PizzaPlex #2:

Joel appears in the epilogue of this book. In this story, he is hanging out at a carnival with Wade. They meet with the others, and Joel and Wade suggest to visit the construction sight of the PizzaPlex. They manage to find a vent and sneak down. They get down there and look around but then they see the horrors of the previous epilogue. They see body parts all over the place by the stage. They all try to run away to get out, but they end up in a closet as they hear loud foot steps.

Tales from the PizzaPlex #3:

Joel appears in the epilogue. The group decides to spilt up. Joel and Wade go together. Joel is kind of loud and Wade tells him to keep it down. They look around but find no way to escape. They later hear Hope screaming and follow her and the rest of the group into a closet, where Hope says that a creature killed Nick. They then see the Mimic appear and grab Hope and kill her. 

Tales from the PizzaPlex #4:

In this story, the group decides to run to the security office, Wade tries to go with the others but Joel pulls him aside and takes him away to another room. Joel says he saw a vent so he decides to go there. There are climbing handles inside and he suggests that if they turn the blades off, they might be able to escape. Joel tells Wade to lure in the Mimic because every time it appears, the lights go out, so it may stop the fan. Wade succeeds and the fan does stop. Joel leaves Wade behind as he hears him being killed by the Mimic. He begins to climb up the vent and escape, but his chest is too big to fit through. As soon as the Mimic leaves, the lights come back on and the fan starts spinning again, cutting Joel in half.
