Short Bio:
Sage is a secondary lead in the puppet carver. He created a book called, "the puppet carver" about a little wooden boy who wants to feel things, which inspired Porter to make the machine by the same name. Sage is tougher than Porter and doesn't like Jack very much.

Sage appears in the first story. He works at the Pizza Playground. He is an author and shares his book with Porter. Porter and Sage are very good friends. Porter then shows him his creation, and Sage is impressed by it and thinks even Jack will be impressed. Unfortunately, it goes wrong and Jack gets mad at them all and tells them to clean the place, after which, he fires them. Sage gets mad at Jack for firing them after forcing them to clean but Jack says if he fired them first, then they wouldn't have cleaned. Throughout the book, we are shown little snippets of Sage's book. In his story, the wooden boy can't feel things, but at some point, he has flesh now and can feel things and loves it. At the end of the book, they all get rehired and Sage is surprised about Jack's change in attitude. At the end, Sage goes and cleans up the puppet carver machines, and is weirded out to find organs in there, he assumes it belongs to a big animal, unaware that it's Jack's organs.
