History:
Aimee's Mom is never named. Aimee mentions she asked her mom to adopt Mary Jo, but her mom didn't think she would be ready for that, and Aimee secretly was ok with them not adopting her. Aimee's Mom is the one who tells Aimee that Emmett is released from prison.

History:

History:
Gretta is Aimee's friend when she's older. She is studying psychology and wants to be a therapist. Aimee considers herself her "practice" Gretta tells her she needs to move on from Mary Jo. When Aimee sets off to her hometown to find answers, Gretta offers to come, but Aimee says she has to go alone. When she gets there, she regrets not having Gretta with her.

History:
Mary works at the diner that Aimee goes to which used to be a Freddy's. Aimee finds it eerie she meets a "Mary" when she's searching for a "Mary Jo." When Aimee sneaks off, and never comes back. Mary gets a little worried when her soda is just sitting at her table untouched. She thinks she must've just left so she gives the table to someone else. She does not hear Aimee's cries for help.
