George POV.

I dared to peak out through the gap in the door, looking over the large bustling hall of fans. None of them noticed me sticking my head out to look around, all of them focusing on one another as they waited for our panel to begin. I was trying to spot Karl since he was here to watch me, but I couldn’t spot him in the front row.

“What are you doing?” I glanced over to see Niki standing behind me. She was watching me with an expression that was scared and confused.
“He’s waiting for his new crush.” Techno answered from behind her. I frowned, turning to give an annoyed look to the pinkette.

“New crush?” Quackity asked. The moment my attention was away from the door one of the staff members slipped over to shut it.
“Stop opening the door please.” The staff member said, her voice monotone and she slowly moved away. “We don’t want to wind the audience up.”

I didn’t respond to her, instead focusing on the conversation of my friends. “Yes, yesterday he talked to him once and then brought him two VIP passes.” Techno explained.
“Actually he begged me to buy two VIP passes.” Dream corrected.
“You are such a simp George.” Quackity spoke condescendingly.

“I am not a fucking simp.” I scoffed, glaring at all of them since they seemed to have decided it was fun to gang up on the British guy. It was clearly racism.
“Then George’s crush came and gave us five hundred bucks as a thanks.” The blond continued.

“Five hundred?” Quackity repeated. Niki, him, and a couple of the other people listening in all had their eyes widened. They were obviously shocked that Karl had this much money. “Wow George, you really like the rich type, don’t you?”
My brows furrowed. “What do you mean?”

“Well first you have Dream who buys everything for you and lets you live in his house rent free, and then you have a guy who just gave you five hundred dollars.” Niki told me.
“Actually he wanted the five hundred dollars for me and George to go out to dinner at Mange Puis Embrasse.” The blond explained.

“The fancy French place?” We hadn’t told Techno about the offer earlier and so he was confused. His eyes narrowed as he thought it over. “Isn’t that for couples?”
“Yep. That is part of the reason we turned him down.”

It seemed as though everyone was wanting to continue discussing the offer but they didn't get the chance. A woman slipped through the door leading into the convention hall and spoke quietly to all of us. "Alright everyone, are you all ready to go out?" The five of us and the rest of the group nodded.

She glanced at us all in turn, her smile wide and friendly. "You all look so good, and remember bright smiles for your fans. Some of them have been standing in there for two hours." I know it was unrealistic to assume Karl had been there for two hours but it would be nice if he was that desperate to wait for me.

"Now I'm about to open the doors. Feel free to wave and say hi to your fans but don't spend too long there since we are on a tight schedule. Don't answer questions either, we have plenty of time to do that when we are all on stage."

"We also wouldn't want a creep to stop us and take our hair to make into a doll or something." Techno muttered to Dream and I.
"Or claim their undying love and ask to marry us." Dream responded. The woman heard us but didn't respond, instead turning to the door.

She pushed it open and began walking out with me following her and Dream behind me. The crowd erupted into deafening applause and screams that were just an unintelligible wall of sound. The constant attention brought a blush to my face which I ignored.

The seats had all been put out in a certain order and I was at the end of the table. The bright lights of the room contrasted against the coolness of the hallway and I found myself awkwardly waiting as the others got themselves seated. I glanced over at Dream. "Do you think Karl is here to watch the panel?"

"I hope so." I answered. A small smile ghosted over my face as I turned to the audience. A lot of people called out to me as I scowered the crowd, all craving even a scrap of my attention, but I couldn't care less about most of them. That sounds bad. Karl was just a priority, since I hadn't seen his radiant beauty this morning.

Eventually I spotted the VIP section. The people were more spread out, and were only a few feet from the stage. I spotted Karl instantly, his angelic beauty shining through. He was having a whispered conversation with the ravenette he was sharing a room with. I believe his name was Sampson or something.

The woman who escorted us out here cut off my view from the pair of them as she stood in front of the table to address the crowd. "Good morning everyone and welcome to the mcyt panel!" She paused as the crowd erupted in applause, I even got involved with a few small claps. It took a minute or so to settle down.

"So we are going to start in a minute. If you have anything that you want to ask then put your hand up. We have some people in the crowd with microphones who will come to you.” I once again tuned out, just watching the two I was familiar with as they watched the stage. “Please state your name, who your question is for, and then ask your question.”

It felt as though Karl was watching us as well. His gaze flicked back and forth between myself and Dream as he sat to my left. I wondered if he would end up asking us a question, and what that question might end up being. I ended up finally lifting my gaze off of him as Dream tapped my leg.

For a brief moment I glanced at him before looking towards the audience as a tentative sounding man spoke into the microphone. “So… my name is Cameron, and I have a question for all of you.” He said, taking a moment and giving a glance to the man holding the microphone beside him. “I was just wondering how it felt for all of you to meet for the first time.”

We all smiled as we began answering, starting from Niki who was at the far end of the panel.
