Dream POV.

Arms hugged my waist, and I listened to the sound of the quiet breathing of the brunette. The way that he'd quickly fallen asleep against me made me feel so proud. It calmed me about everything that was going on, just being able to relax with him alongside me. I pulled my phone out and took a chance to snap a photo.

This was just for me. I didn't need the whole world to know about what was happening with me and George. I didn't even need George to know about what was going on, I just needed to be able to have this for myself.

Then after that photo I just began to scroll through my phone, watching videos on TikTok with the sound barely there. The sound didn't matter, it would disturb his peaceful slumber and even though George slept all the time, he always needed it. I wouldn't wake him up.

I continued to just sit there, the warmth of his body providing a sweet comfort to me despite the fact that I was somewhat uncomfortable. As I watched the video I couldn't help but glance over constantly to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

"God this is so…" I was cut off as George’s phone buzzed loudly. In an act of desperation I reached across his limp body to grab and turn on his phone. I turned it on and recognised the logo of one of the many delivery services that he was signed up to. 'Time to eat! Your food has been delivered.'

"It's still so sweet of you to pay for this with your own money." I hummed, taking a moment to brush my fingers lovingly through his hair. "But I'll get it all set up while you rest, my darling. We don't want it to go cold, do we?" I asked him, carefully moving the brunette off of me so I could get the food.

I stood and began walking towards the door before pausing and glancing back. Poor George, he looked so peaceful yet so cold. Before I went to go get the food I carefully enveloped him in the warm blanket which was on the other couch. Then I headed over to the door, unlocking it and seeing three paper bags on the step.

Delicious smells of all varieties danced up to my nose for me to smell. It was amazing, and I almost drooled at the scent before I turned and walked inside. My hands clutched desperately at the paper before setting them all down on the kitchen table. The whole time I got the boxes of food I thought about how sweet he was.

A song slipped through my mind, one that I hummed as I continued organising everything. But my brain basically cut off and I shut my mouth like a vice when a brunette appeared at the bottom of the stairs with a ravenette right behind him. The two looked over at me, it seemed they had heard me humming.

"Good morning Dream." Karl gave a polite nod as he walked over to the table. "I hope that you had a good sleep." It confused me how he was being so smiley and kind after the way that everything had happened last night.
"Morning…" I cautiously responded, tensing up as they moved closer.

After a moment I looked back to the table, but Karl piped up quickly. "Would you like some help with that Dream?" He asked caringly, something which just annoyed me for some reason. I shook my head, before thinking that perhaps it was a bit rude when they were offering to help and so I backtracked.

"If you'd like to help me out, someone will need to wake up Techno. We need to feed him before he gets angry, last time that happened he… dented the wall."
"He did?" Karl's eyes were wide with shock at what I said.
Confidently Sapnap spoke up. "I guess I could wake him up… doubt he'll dent me."

"Sure." The ravenette gave a curt nod, he turned to head up the stairs but I remembered something to add on before he got too far away.
"Don't get too close to him when you try to wake him up. He may try to grab you and break your fingers. It's a reflex thing."

"Okay." He nodded curtly, taking a few steps up the stairs before I remembered something else that I probably needed to warn him about.
"And don't wake him by throwing something either. I tried waking him by throwing a pillow and he threw it back hard enough to dent the door."

"With a pillow?" Karl's eyes clouded with concern for his friend, looking over his shoulder towards him. "Sapnap." He let out a whining sound, full of caution.
"I'll be fine." He reassured. “You know that I have abilities that Dream’s friend won’t have any counters to.”

He disappeared and left me alone with Karl. The brunette seemed as though he wanted to help, but after what I had said earlier he stood patiently. “What about George?” He asked politely. “Would you like me to go and wake him up for breakfast?” I shook my head. This secret that he’d kept probably ruined any potential relationship between him and George but still.

“He’s been up.” I explained. “Currently he is on the couch. He was the one who ordered breakfast for us.” A hint of pride went through me at that, feeling love for George and happiness at the fact that he was improving.
“Perhaps I should go and thank him.” Karl hummed.

“No need. I think that he has fallen asleep.” I was quick to inform him. “I’ll just wake him up after getting all the food ready.” After me telling him that the brunette nodded, seeming to not like the idea of not doing anything. The angel seemed to think that it was bad to not be helpful, something that I admittedly felt guilty about.

Sapnap POV.

I took a concentrating breath, feeling my hands heat up from the tips of my fingers down to my palm. Then with a slight grin I sent a shot of flames to hit his face. That way the house wouldn’t be set on fire, only his skin would get a light scarring. His eyes opened with a furious glare and he bolted out of bed towards me.

Now I could see the reason behind the warning that Dream gave me. “Did you try to burn my face?” He asked me, gaze narrow. “Because that’s what it feels like you were doing.”
“I was going with Dream’s advice.” I responded. “He said not to touch you and not to throw anything at you to wake you up.”

“And why did you wake me up?” The pink haired man questioned, loosening his grip slightly.
“Because breakfast has been delivered… plus there was still that talk thing that everyone wanted.” After a moment he fully let go of me and nodded.
“I guess I could eat.” He spoke casually, before leaving anticlimactically with a smile on his face.

My weight was still against the wall of his room, unsure what I just witnessed in that ten second interaction, but after a moment I followed him.
