A chapter sharing everyone's favourite character, Philza!!!!

Philza POV.
Magic rippled over my skin like waves in an ocean. Like morse code it sent information into my nerves, and I felt each thought rushing through my veins to my mind. It was a sign, a sign that the contract was being held, being acknowledged, by the person whom I had dedicated it to. My eldest son, Technoblade.
That was a good sign, one that had tugged my attention away for most of the afternoon. He was clearly reading and re-reading what had been written, which I was thankful for. It meant that he was obviously considering it, he had to be. Since knowing him when he didn’t like the idea of it he’d screw it up into a ball and hide it somewhere.
I knew exactly what he was doing, and although I wasn’t a psychic I could almost guarantee that I knew what he was feeling and thinking too. He was considering taking my deal, considering leaving behind the miserable life of a regular old Guardian Angel to become the Head Cupid, one of the most important jobs that existed for our kind.
“Come on Techno.” I muttered out to him, despite knowing that he wouldn’t hear me. “You know that it is the correct choice. You know that your future will thrive more if you choose to sign the contract.” I hoped he saw logic, saw the safety and security that the job offered him.
The contract continued to be held by the pinkette angel, and continued to be read over and over again. It was infused with magic, the magic of one of the subjects of the contract, in this instance it was me. It wasn’t just magic that was infused though, it was my blood, a part of my very being as part of the paper.
That is why I could sense it. Techno touching the contract was the same as him grabbing my arm, each small bit of contact that was laid upon the crisp surface made the hairs on my arm stand on end. He was taking his time to decide what to do, I could tell.
If he were to sign the paper and agree to the terms written he would have to do it in his own blood. That is the importance of the Head Cupid, they must be willing to sacrifice a part of themselves into the job when they take it, and sacrifice another piece when they leave it. Many angels I knew would be too scared to even think of doing that.
When the blood of the newest individual takes over, it releases the owner of the old blood (in this case myself) from the position. My wings strained and I allowed them to puff out, reaching from one wall to the next proudly. They reminded me of my position, the power and awe that they received because of it.
I also felt quite powerful standing here, getting the opportunity to look upon our whole world below us. I was above all of them, looking down as life continued around me. The angels that were below had no idea that I was up here, that I was looking down on them all as they lived their mundane lives.
To continue to fuel my importance, my wings were even infused with flakes of gold which would catch the light as though it were glass and scatter it proudly with a blinding accuracy. I was like a living sun up here, thriving at the centre of everything, a trait which I hoped that my eldest son would hope to follow in my footsteps for.
From up here, I could feel all of these thoughts without fear of being harassed, being able to pass all of my judgments as though I were a god. Perhaps that was too far. I allowed myself to pull my thoughts back in, hiding the fact from any tellapaths who may be sifting through my thoughts, and the thoughts.
I was definitely powerful, but comparing myself on a level alongside a god, such as Yahweh, or Allah, or even Zues, was a bit overzealous. That wasn’t something that an angel should do, compare themselves with an all-powerful, despite the fact that that is what the position truly granted you. It granted you the ability to be all-powerful, something I knew Techno craved.
“Dad?” My eyes slid over, seeing Tommy standing in the doorway of the room and studying me.
“Yes?” I didn’t acknowledge him any more. No more words directed at my son. No more moving of my body to even attempt to face him.
“How long ago did you get back from the human world?”
He had been in his room when I returned, and hadn’t noticed the fact that I was back before now. That was perhaps for the best though, since I didn’t want to risk infusing my remaining son with ideas about what it was like down there. The last thing that I needed was him getting the same inspiration that Techno had.
“I just got home.” I informed him, managing a smile as I studied his dishevelled appearance. “I didn’t want to disturb you, in case you were asleep.” It wasn’t something that I liked, it wasn’t appropriate for the son of the Head Cupid to look as though he was living on the street. He bit the inside of his lip and nodded, understanding my logic.
“Did you manage to find Techno?” For a moment his eyes glimmered with excitement, which was a sign of dread for me. Then he ran his fingers through his hair, combing them to calm down. “I mean… did you find him?” His voice was more calm the second time.
“Yes. I managed to find your brother.” I nodded, hiding away my smile, replacing it with a sombre expression. “He did not mention you.”
“Oh.” Was all that he responded with. “That’s… um…” He was clearly disappointed about the fact that his brother didn’t mention him.
“I’m sorry.” I said, watching him with a saddened gaze. “But if you want you can still try and contact him. You are able to use my phone to try and call him if you wish, or you can continue with those human computer games.” Tommy still looked dejected, and I watched him without saying anything more, just studying him.
“Maybe not.” He muttered. “If Techno didn’t mention me… I’ll give him some space.”
I nodded. “Perhaps that would be best.” His hands began fiddling with one another and I watched his wings droop behind his back. “I’m sorry about Techno.” His mood had been killed, he looked as though he was a kicked puppy.
With one last audible sigh the blond turned and walked out of the room.
