You awoke at the crack of dawn. You were......drowning? You jumped up, alarmed. What the heck? Why was your shirt soaked?

You looked up. It was Masaru, standing on the other side of the fence, watering his plants. He had splashed you with some water.

"OH! Y/N! I'm so sorry, i didn't see you there. Wait, what are you doing down there?" Asked Masaru, looking slightly concerned for your mental well being.

You explained the situation to him trying your best not to sound weird and he began to laugh at you. "Oh, you haven't changed at all, Y/N!" He laughed, and you joined in. You had to admit, the situation was kinda funny.

Over the duration of the next week, you began getting used to living in the city. The Bakugous and UA had been a huge help to you.

There was only one thing pending. When you decided to move back to the city, you did not want to make yourself a financial burden to your grandmother, so you had to find a job.

There was an opening for the job of a waitress at a nearby pizza place, 'Marlo's'. It wasn't exactly the kind of work a UA student should be taking up but frankly, you had no choice. You would have to keep it from your classmates at UA though.

Your boss was probably one of the rudest people you had ever met. He refused to give his employees a single holiday and yelled at them while they were working so much so that it brought tears to their eyes.

He was the most obnoxious person, ever. He was a man of a short stature with droopy eyelids and an ever present frown constantly plastered across his face.

The pay was great, though. And that was why you took the job.

Everything was going great. You would go for a run every morning to the park and finish some household chores. You would have all afternoon free until your secret shift in the evening.

You hadn't even told the Bakugous about the job.
Bakugou. You had no idea why but it was always awkward when he was around. You thought he was mad at you for leaving but giving him an explanation would be way too awkward since the two of you had had absolutely no contact for 9 years.

Bakugou wasn't sure about what he felt. The night he met you, he was too much in shock to say a single thing to you. Everything was going too fast. He couldn't process it. But now that it had been a while it felt too awkward for him to even start a conversation with you.

Whatever. Its not like he cared. He didnt want to waste another second on caring about some girl he used to know.

He did however want some closure. Not that he cared or anything. He was simply curious. Curious to know why you left without a word and why you never kept in touch. He wasn't hurt or anything.

So he did the most logical thing. He started stalking you. He didn't mean to though. He obviously didn't care about some extra.

He stopped going for jogs at night and began going in the morning instead so that you would start a conversation with him but that never happened because you never noticed him, too busy singing along to the pop music blasting in your ears at 6 a.m.

He noticed how your hair would sway from side to side with every step you took, your sweet voice rippling through the air, creeping into his ears, how your body would heave up and down as you ran.

He hated all of it obviously, but he had to admit that watching you was somewhat tolerable.

He continued his routine for a week until one day, you did notice. "Bakugou?" You said, spotting him nearby jogging, in your direction. "Y/N?" He questioned, "what are you doing here?"

And so, the two of you began jogging together every morning.
