Him Again (Bakugou Katsuki x Reader)

12. A Field Trip?

You and Bakugou walked together to school in the morning. The two of you were laughing, talking about something, only to be rudely greeted by resporters standing outside UA. News of All Might being a teacher at UA had spread like wildfire, it seemed.

"UA students!" They screamed, pointing at the two of you rushing towards you. "Can you tell us a bit about All- wait-" a lady said, looking looking at Bakugou, "You're the kid from the sludge-" "Shut it!" Bakugou interrupted, starling the poor interviewer. He marched into the campus, grabbing your hand.

What sludge had she been talking about? "Uh Bakugou?" You began. " What was she talking about? What sludge?"

Bakugou paused in between the staircase, looking disturbed by the mention of the sludge villain.

"I-It was something that was-" he looked really uncomfortable. "I was-"

"Hey. It's alright if you don't want to tell me." You said. "You're clearly uncomfortable with it so its cool if you dont feel like it. I won't ask about it."

You smiled at him. Warmth filled his chest. He tightened his grip around your hand, involuntarily. "Thanks...." He muttered lowly and began walking up the stairs with you. You didn't say anything, knowing he wouldn't want you to.

You and Bakugou made your way to class together. Uraraka, who was standing outside the classroom with Jiro saw you and looked away, blushing.

Jirou's eyes widened when she saw the two of you. Bakugou followed her gaze and blushed profusely. His hand was still interlocked with yours.

"W-what're you two nerds looking at?" He snarled, subtly letting go of your hand. You were so clueless, you hadn't even noticed any of this.

The class was supposed to be deciding on class reps that day.

Midoriya won by a landslide with an overwhelming amount of 3 votes.

"Z-Zero votes?" Iida exclaimed, disappointed in himself. Why hadn't he voted for himself? everyone wondered.

"HAAH? NOBODY VOTED FOR ME?" Bakugou's voice boomed. "Are you really shocked, Bakugou?" You laughed. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nobody wants an angry Pomeranian as a class rep." You snickered.

Before he could say anything, Aizawa announced that Momo and Midoriya would be taking over as the class reps.

It was lunch time. Bakugou, Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari and Sero sat together with you. You were enjoying your meals when an alarm started blaring. "Level three security breach, please evacuate outdoors."

Everybody rushed out of the cafeteria and tried to make their way back to their classrooms but there was a huge crowd gathered in a rather narrow pathway.

"Mina!" You cried as the croud seperated you and Bakugou from the rest of the group, pushing you both up against the wall on the opposite side.

Bakugou's body pressed flush against yours due to the pressure. You looked up at Bakugou, flustered but his expression was filled with terror.

"Bakugou?" You called him. "Are you okay?" He didn't respond. His chest rose and fell against yours and he was breathing fast.

What was wrong with him? You hesitantly wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him into a hug, expecting him to push you away, but he didnt.

He simply rested his head against your shoulder and held you gently. His breathing was getting faster and you stroked his back, comforting him.

He seemed to calm down a bit but began panicking again when the crowd stirred. He let out a shaky breath next to your ear.

Was he claustrophobic or something? "Shh. I got you, Katsu." You cooed.

"EVERYTHING'S ALRIGHT" You heard Iida speak over the crowd. " THE POLICE HAVE ARRIVED." Everyone seemed to calm down a bit and the crowd started clearing in an orderly fashion.

Bakugou let you go, pulling away and swiftly walking back to class without glancing at you a single time.

You knew he was embarrassed and didn't want to face you, so you just made your way back.

Aizawa announced that you were going to be travelling off campus for "rescue training."

Everyone started finding their seats in the bus. You sat next to Bakugou, naturally hoping the two of you could talk, since you would be on the bus for a while.

To your disappointment, he plugged in airpods and began listening to music. You knew it was probably to avoid talking about what had happened in the hallway.

He noticed you staring at him. "Take a picture, won't you? It'll last longer." He smirked. You were glad he was back to his normal self now.

Your face went red and you smacked him. "Don't flatter yourself! I just......wanted to listen to some music." You lied.

He handed you his left airpod to your surprise. You inserted it into your ear. Slow jazz music began playing. You were shocked. You half-expected heavy metal, rock music to blast at full volume.

Before you could say anything you heard Tsuyu say, "Bakugou's always mad so he probably won't be popular."

You laughed at how true it was. Seeing your reaction agitated Bakugou even more "Wanna fight?" He yelled at her.

"Everyone knows that his personality is crap steeped in sewage." Added Kaminari. His words made you scowl. You resisted the urge to defend Bakugou.

"WHAT'S WITH YOUR VOCABULARY, FUCKTURD? ILL KILL YOU. YOU GOT THAT?"
"Woah, don't swear in front of your girlfriend, Bakugou." He mocked him.
"Y-Y/N's not my girlfriend!" He rebutted.
"I didn't even say i was referring to Y/N." He teased.
"HAAH?-"

Aizawa interrupted them. "We're here!" He announced.

You met pro hero Thirteen there. He gave you a quick introduction. Everyone was excited to begin but Aizawa seemed distraught.

"Gather together and don't move." He warned in a serious tone.

A portal had opened. Villains started emerging from it.
