"Do whatever seems fit. I couldn't care less." Your grandmother said. "I'll be on my way now. I'll drop by at UA for your dormitory system. What you do with your life is none of my concern."

"Bye bye now." Katsuki snarked. You said nothing. What she had said about you was beyond unacceptable. You were holding back tears. You couldn't believe she would say that especially to Katsuki of all people, the only person in the world whose opinion you truly cared about.

"Am I not going to receive a farewell from you, L/N?" She inquired. "No thank you? No bye bye? No have a safe flight?"

Your nostrils flared up in pure rage but you but your tongue hard. "Thank you for signing off on the dorm system for me. Have a safe journey!"

"That's more like it." She said. And with that she strutted back out in her heels.

The second the menacing clanking of her heels was gone, you broke down, falling to the floor on your knees, sobbing. Katsuki caught you and held you in his arms.

"Y/N." He said. "No. Don't cry. Not for that tram- lady." He pulled your body into his arms and you rested your head in the crook of his neck.

You clutched onto his shirt desperately, sobbing even harder. He probably thought you were a huge loser. He was probably so angry with you, for lying to him about not wanting to financially burden your grandmother, for making it seem like she was good to you.

But the truth was you didn't tell him because you couldn't face it yourself. You kept running from reality. Your parents were dead. There were scraps of memories of your brother and his shade friend, Tenko that you kept recalling and you didn't know what exactly had happened to you. You were forced to move away from all your friends, from Katsuki, from the Bakugous who would have taken care of you like their own had you just stayed. But you had no choice but to move in with your grandmother who truly despised your existence and made your life a living hell. She didn't even allow you to say a proper good bye.

You hated everything about her. The way she never called you by your name, only L/N or even your father's name. It stung. Especially to a six year old who had just lost her parents.

She reminded you time and again that she would kick you out if you decided to become a hero and that's exactly what you did. So she did exactly as she said she would as well. She refused to financially aid you, despite being well off herself. You knew she recieved a hefty sum of money after your mom died.

Everything in your life was hell. The happiest you had ever been was when you began going to UA. But just her presence in your life was enough to mess you up all over again.

The pain was crushing you. Everything hurt. But amidst all of it, you saw a single light. It pulled you out of it. Ruby eyes. Caramel scent. The raging storm in your head seemed to blow over just by the soft breath of the words that escaped his lips.

"I love you, Y/N. You're okay now..." And everything seemed to calm down.

"Who is this?"
"Mr. Aizawa? It's Y/N." You said.
"Oh. How did you get my personal number? Delete it. Go study now. I have work to-"
"No wait! I need to ask you something." You said.
"Aren't you busy packing? There isn't much time left for you to move."
"Did- did my grandmother drop by?"

Aizawa stayed silent for a second. "........Yes, she did. She's given you permission to stay at the dormitories."

You breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh thank god. Did she say anything to you?"
"... No. Nothing as such."

You wanted to pull your hair out. You knew it. She had said something about you to him. Something mean, demeaning, disgraceful.

"Alright. Thanks Mr. Aizawa. I'll delete your number now."
"No that's alright. Keep it. Call me if you ever need anything. Goodbye."

He cut the call. You wanted to bash your head against the wall. He was being nice to you. Pity. You could hear it in his voice. You didn't even want to think about what your grandmother had told him.

It was finally the day of the move. "Y/N! It's been a while!" Mitsuki said, walking in. You had met her a few hours ago. "How's packing going? Need any help?"

"Hi, Mitsuki! Nope, I'm good!" You replied. You didn't really have much stuff to begin with so you were pretty much done.

"That's great!" She chirped. "But Katsuki's not. That stupid brat won't let me touch his stuff either. And now i have to leave for work with Masaru. Do you mind helping him out? He's truly hopeless." She shook her head.

"Katsuki, you're not going to need your All Might posters at UA." You said, taking it from his hand. "You really don't need half of this stuff."
"I NEED IT!" He said.
"Why do you need a deflated balloon?"
"What if I'm bored? I can pump air into it."
You rolled your eyes.
"A metal rod?"
"It might be useful!"
"2 wall clocks?"
"What if I'm lying down on my side and I wanna know the time and the clock is behind me? I'll have to strain my neck."

"BAKUGOU KATSUKI!" You said, exasperated. "What is wrong with you? Are you a hoarder?"
"No! I like hoarding useful stuff!"
"A punctured basketball isn't useful anymore!"
"But it could be!"

"Katsu. You're going to shut up and sit here while i pack your stuff. You've packed your clothes right?"
"Not yet..."
"Are you telling me all those bags aren't filled with clothes?"
"No. Where else would my stationary g-"
"Nope. Nope. Nope. You're done. Get out. I'm packing your stuff."

He was glaring daggers into your soul when the two of you arrived. You rolled your eyes as you helped Masaru with the bags. He grabbed your wrist and pushed you backwards, roughly, reaching for your bag.

What a gentleman! You thought sarcastically, rubbing your wrist. "I can carry my own bags, you know." You said. "You don't deserve to touch a single bag ever again!" He spat.

"If it wasn't for me, you would have ended up making it here by next month."
"YOU THREW MY ALL MIGHT TSHIRT AWAY!"
"IT WAS IN TATERS KATSU! TWO PIECES! WITH HOLES IN IT!"
"AARGH! YOU'RE DRIVING ME CRAZY."

And the two of you continued to bicker during the entire walk to the dormitories. His disgusting habit of hoarding pissed you off. His loud voice and his obnoxious tone was repulsive. His harsh mannerisms, his rude words, his attitude and his lack of respect for people never failed to embarrass you. He always pushed your buttons like none other and drove you insane. You hated all those characteristics.

But somehow.... When it was on him, you loved it. His flaws, his faults, everything about him that shaped his personality. You had grown so attached to him, you couldn't fathom not having him.

He felt like home. No matter how hard life got, it was all okay as long as he was with you.
