Him Again (Bakugou Katsuki x Reader)

40. Don't Come

You talked with Midoriya as you made your way into the forest. "Izuku." You suddenly said, alarmed. "What's that smoke?"

"Whats going on?" Midoriya said. Just then, you heard Mandalay's voice. She was using her quirk to communicate with you. She said something about a villain attack and your heart dropped. Shit. Of course there's a villain attack. Why does this always happen to us?

"Wait. Kota. He's by himself. We have to go!" Midoriya said, running off. You had no idea what was going on but you followed him.

Midoriya was right. When you got there, Kota was in danger. But you and Midoriya swooped in and saved Kota. "Y/N!" Midoriya said, "you should go ahead. I'll handle it here!"

You were reluctant but you knew the rest of the class needed more help than he did. Especially Class B. And you were extremely worried and wanted to see Katsuki. So you rushed out of there.

While you were on your way, you saw someone. Mina. "What're you doing here Mina?" You called out to her. "Weren't you supposed to be at the camp with Aizawa? Why did you willingly come into the forest by yourself?"

"Oh! Hehe." She said. " I just thought you would need help! With the villains and all attacking."

"Wait." You said. "I never told you about any villains." You took a step back. "How did you know I encountered a villain before?"

"No! I didn't know! I was just guessing. With all the chaos, you know!" She said. "Who are you?" You asked, now sure it wasn't Mina.

"Heh." She smirked evilly. Without another word, she pulled out a knife and began charging towards you. You used your quirk and leapt out of the way, landing a blow on her.

She charged towards you again, but you countered perfectly, injuring her again. She looked back at you, knowing she had no choice but to escape. She ran into the forest. You began chasing after her but you froze.

"The villains are targeting someone named Kacchan and L/N." Mandalay's voice echoed through your head. Your heart almost stopped. No. No. This could not be happening. Not Katsuki.

You rushed back towards the camp, hoping you would find him there but by some incredible luck, you ran into him and Todoroki.

But they were being attacked by villains. Before you could do anything, Tokoyami's dark shadow appeared out lf nowhere. The villain attacked it but was quickly enveloped into the darkness.

Katsuki and Todoroki used their quirk and began to illuminate the place and weakened Dark Shadow after it defeated the villain.

You ran towards Katsuki. You didn't care that Todoroki was watching. You threw yourself into his arms as soon as you saw him. He was okay.

He hugged you right back. "Y/N!" He said. "You're okay! Thank god you're okay!" You pulled away quickly when you remembered that Todoroki was standing right there. His heart was shattering. He didn't know why but he resented Katsuki from the bottom of his heart now that you had hugged him like that.

Just then, Tokoyami and Midoriya appeared. "I let Dark Shadow get out of control. I apologise." He said. "It's alright Tokoyami, we're okay." You said.

"Y/N, Kacchan. We need to protect the two of you." Midoriya said. "Oh my god, Izuku! Whay happened? I knew I shouldn't have left you!" You said, looking at his wounds.

"It's alright Y/N! For now we must protect you and Kacchan." He said. "SHUT UP DEKU! I DON'T NEED PROTECTION!" Katsuki howled. "I can protect myself and Y/N by myself!"

The group blatantly ignored Katsuki's complaints and surrounded the two of you in a formation to best protect you. Katsuki held your hand and protectively walked in front of you to keep you safe.

A few minutes later, you heard a scream. Uraraka. Everybody went to check it out and found a blond girl attacking her with a huge needle. Todoroki swooped in and saved Uraraka just in time.

The villain took one look at you and retreated right away. Just then, you felt your body being violently shoved to the side. What the fuck? But when you looked up you noticed that Katsuki was gone. "Guys!" You said. "Where's Katsuki?"

"Tokoyami's gone too!" Izuku noted. Shit. No. No no no. You had to find him. You could never live with yourself if the villains got to him.

A villain's voice boomed. "They should be villains. Not heroes." He revealed himself and Todoroki and you began to attack him, enraged but he got away quickly leaping on tree branches and escaping.

"NO!" You yelled as you took off behind him at full speed. You chased after him and you landed a hit on him but simultaneously, Midoriya and Todoroki appeared out of nowhere and seemed to be falling from the sky on top of him.

"Mister, get out of the way." A voice said. He negan laughing flames towards you but they were.... blue? Everybody dodged and suddenly, the blond haired girl who was attacking Uraraka tackled Midoriya and was about to attack but you charged into her and saved him.

"We're not leaving without the girl." A voice said. Everything went dark. Kurogiri. It was the same villain from USJ. Just then, the previous villain, Mr. compress revealed two marbles that were in his mouth. You saw the figures of Katsuki and Tokoyami trapped inside them.

The three of you began charging towards him but he was too far. But just then, Aoyama appeared out of nowhere and attacked him, making him spit the marbles out. Todoroki grabbed a marble but before you could catch the other, you felt the villain with the blue flames shove you out of the way, grasping the marble himself.

A portal opened up behind you and he grabbed your hand and returned Katsuki to his normal form. He dragged the two of you into the portal but at the last second, Katsuki used the last bit of energy he had to elbow the villain in the shoulder hard, making him release the grip he had on you.

You fell backwards and Dabi tried to get you again but it was too late. The portal was closing. Midoriya and you charged towards Katsuki. "Don't come, Y/N, Deku."

The portal closed and the villains retreted.
