"So you're dropping out?"
"I have to...."
Aizawa sighed. He felt horrible. He would never admit it, but he cared for you more than a lot of other students. Your quirk was incredible but your determination and resilience to become a hero and succeed was far more admirable.
It was such a huge shame that the world had lost a hero like you. He wished he could do something to change it, but without your quirk.....
All Might and Nezu couldn't believe it either. Out of all the students in UA, you were the few with the greatest potential. Everything about you was the definition of a great hero. Losing you would be outrageous.
"No." Aizawa said.
"What....?"
"Don't drop out."
"Hes right." All Might added. "I know you've lost your quirk but you can still continue training here at UA."
"My quirk is gone, All Might.....like completely. All of it. I cannot become a hero anymore."
"But young Y/N... That doesn't mean you can't stay here and continue your training."
"Oh.....kay? Why?"
All Might pursed his lips. He didn't know where he was going with this. He just knew he couldn't let someone with your potential go to waste. If Midoriya had managed to get into UA without a quirk, he was sure you could too. Besides, you could always help out somehow. You already knew a lot about being a hero. And most importantly, about All Might and Midoriya's secret....
Principal Nezu sighed. "She's right All Might. There's no use in giving the poor kid false hope by keeping her here." He hated to see you go. He recognised your potential too. But to him you were just another student. He couldn't do anything about it.
"Let her stay." All Might said to Principal Nezu.
"I agree." Aizawa added as they both looked hopefully at Nezu.
"Alright." Nezu sighed. "You will continue your training here. We shall see what will come of it."
You just sighed and left the office.
"While I don't see what could come of it, I will put my faith in you, All Might." Nezu said after you left.
All Might looked away. If he was being honest, he wasn't exactly sure if he had a plan for you. There was just something different about you, something that told him he would regret letting you go.

The next few weeks went by in a haze. You would go to school, study, train with Katsuki and repeat, albeit it was never a fair fight. For the first time, you truly felt the difference between someone with a powerful quirk like Katsuki and some one quirkless, like you.
But Katsuki was understanding towards you. He never failed to notice no matter how much you tried to hide the fact that your quirklessness was getting to you. It was frustrating. Having something you had had for all your life being taken away from you within seconds was devastating.
You hated the way everyone else treated you like you were made of glass. They tried to be gentle but you could see it in their eyes. Doubt. They wondered why you were there. You couldn't blame them. You wondered the same.
While you tried to cope with losing your quirk, you naturally spent more time with Mirio who was in the same shoes as you. Except it was all your fault that he was quirkless now.
The two of you would visit Eri often. She had grown more attached than ever to the two of you. Back at the Shie Hassaikai headquarters, you were all she had. The only glimmer of hope she had ever felt in her lifetime.
"They're so cute!" She was saying excited one day when you visited her. She was now living on the school campus. You and Mirio chuckled.
"Is it a squirrel?" Mirio guessed.
"NOPE!" Eri giggled as she made a cross with her arms.
"They dig holes!"
"Oh! It's a mole!" He said, sure of his answer.
"They have such big ears! And they can hop!"
"Is it a grasshopper?" Mirio guessed.
"NO!"
"ARGH!" Mirio yelled in frustration. You couldn't tell if he was just playing dumb or if he was actually that dumb at this point. He seemed to be trying a tad bit too hard to be pretending for Eri.
"Hmm. Could it maybe, just maybe be a bunny?" You finally said, having had enough of Mirio's pathetic attempts at guessing Eri's favourite animal.
"OHMYGAWD YOU GOT IT!" Eri said jumping into your arms. Mirio's eyes finally widened in realisation. So he just was that dumb.
"Yeah! I had to really wrack my brain for it!" You chuckled.
She giggled. "You're so smart, Y/N! It took Mr. Aizawa over an hour!"
You sweat dropped. What the heck was wrong with these heroes? As Eri continued talking about bunnies, you saw light radiating from her body. Her quirk had been activated. Uh oh.
You stood up quickly and set her down but you knew it was too late. She had already been in your arms for too long. Damage had surely been done. But when you looked at yourself, you sighed in relief. Nothing was wrong.
After a while, you walked back to the dorms to meet up with Katuski and maybe spar. You had had a long day. You just needed some time with him. He always made it all better.
But when you got there, he seemed to be in a sour mood. You remembered what had taken place in class that day and grimaced.
Katsuki and Midoriya were made to train together that day, and Midoriya had just barely managed to shove Katsuki out of the ring. Everybody knew Midoriya had accidentally played a little dirty by going for Katsuki's injured shoulder without realising it himself but he had still managed to win.
You groaned. Katsuki was not going to go easy on you. And he didn't. He was relentlessly charging at you, landing blows on you left, right and centre.
You huffed as you stood up after being knocked down for the hundredth time. "Jeez! Go easy on me, would you?" You complained. You didn't have your quirk. It had lowered your physical combating skills and stamina considerably too.
"Not a chance!" He smirked and you two continued to spar. But as time passed, you seemed to be getting phenomenally better at keeping up.
Katsuki on the other hand, felt as though his movements were getting sluggish. Was he sick or something? It was almost like the wind was pulling him back... Like nature itself didn't want him to succeed. It reminded him of the times he used to spar with you when you had your quirk.
He would have to keep reminding you not to use it because you would involuntarily push him back with the wind and make his movements ....... sluggish..... And now you seemed to be getting stronger by the second....and you could keep up with some moves that would have knocked you out just a day prior....and oh god.
He was putting two and two together. He stopped dead in his tracks as realisation dawned upon him. But that proved to be a mistake. He hadn't anticipated that you would come charging towards him and knock him backwards. He tried to get you to stop and listen to him but the gust of wind that accompanied your attack that made his body ram hard into the wall behind did not help.
He hissed in pain. You had got him right in the shoulder. Why did everyone want to target his injury? But he quickly recovered and stood up.
He looked at you, excitedly but you just smirked and began gloating about your victory. Why were you so damn dense?
"Y/N!" He yelled, shaking you by the shoulders. "Oww! What the heck?"
"Make me fly." He demanded. You smirked. "Yeah i just did."
"No. Y/N. Make. Me. Fly."
Your smile dropped. "That's not funny."
"No. I'm serious. Listen to me."
Why was he being like this to you? Couldn't he tell that your quirk was a sensitive topic for you? You scoffed and pushed him away but to your surprise, he lifted a little off the ground. He hissed in pain and gripped his shoulder. Why the HECK was everyone going for his fucking shoulder? He cursed silently. But that wasn't important right now. You looked at you in excitement.
Your eyes widened in realisation. No fucking way. That had to be a joke. You looked up towards the sky. Without missing a single beat, you launched yourself upwards as lightening struck behind you.
