31. Stain

It was one of the last days of your internship with Hawks. He had given you some time off in the evening. You were on call with Midoriya. He was telling you about his Internship with Gran Torino and All Might and how he was improving consistently.

He asked you if you wanted to accompany him and Gran Torino to fight real villains at Hosu city. How could you ever say no to that offer?

"Why isn't Iida responding? He normally replies within three minutes." Midoriya said on the train as it passed Hosu City.

Just then, there was an explosion on the train. Nomus. Gran Torino lept into action, tackling the Nomu off the train. You and Midoriya got off he train and looked around. The entire city was erupting into chaos.

The two of you made your way into the city to check out what the commotion was all about. "Iida isn't responding to my messages." He said. "His brother was attacked by Hero Killer stain recently. I wonder if he's trying to take him on." Your eyes went wide. Iida was definitely taking him on.

Just then you crossed an alleyway. It was Stain. He was standing over Iida and pro hero Native, about to strike. You and Midoriya charged into the alleyway, delivering a punch and saving Iida.

"Get out of the way!" He yelled. "It is my duty to murder him. If you get in my way, I'll have no choice but to kill you too."

He was different from the villains at USJ. Iida seemed to be paralysed by Stain's quirk. He was activating it by cutting him.

You and Midoriya charged towards him, swiftly avoiding his attacks and landing a few hits but he seemed unfazed. He raised his katana and slashed Midoriya.

He had paralysed him. "No! Izuku!" You said. Stain came towards him but you blasted him backwards with your quirk. He looked at you, eyed wide.

"B-B-Bianca?" He said. "What? How do you know my mother?" You yelled, confused. "...... I didn't know she had a daughter. Your quirk's just like her's" He said.

Somehow his words made you angry and you began charging at him. Why does everything keep thinking my mom had a quirk? Caught up in your emotions, you were easily overpowered by Stain.

He plunged his blade into your shoulder and licked your blood. You doubled over in pain, seeing red. He paralysed you. You hadn't been thinking straight and that had caused you to let down your friends.

He raised his katana as he tried to finish Iida off but a burst of fire stopped him. Todoroki. Midoriya had sent him the location.

He looked at you in concern. "Y/N!" He said, worried about your shoulder. Stain lunged towards him but he began attacking him with ice and fire simultaneously.

You were trying hard to break out of his control and it worked. You stood up. Just then, Todoroki got cut by Stain's blade. Stain was about to stab lick it but you pulled him towards the ground with your quirk.

Midoriya woke up too and the three of you began attacking Stain together. Midoriya climbed up the walls and landed a few major hits on stain. But Stain recovered quickly.

He charged towards you with his blade and tried to strike but Todoroki rammed him into the ground, burning him.

Everytime the three of you would strike at Stain, he would onlt strike back at you. "L/N, YOU WON'T GET OUT OF THIS ALIVE!" He howled as he went for a punch in your stomach, sending you backwards, flying into the wall.

You couldn't get up. You were losing too much blood and your vision was blurring. "Y/N!" Todoroki yelled. "The pro heroes will be here soon, just hold on." You managed a weak smile.

Just then Iida stood up. Him and Midoriya began going at Stain. "It's my destiny to defeat him!" Iida yelled in his injured state. The two of them delivered final attacks and took Stain down.

Todoroki trapped Stain in his ice and ran over to you. "Y/N! We have to rush you to the hospital." He said. "It's alright, Todoroki, it doesn't even hurt." You grimaced. You were starting to sound like Katsuki.

Fuck. Katsuki. You remembered his words. I'll kill you if you die.

Todoroki lifted you up in his arms and walked out of the alleyway. Iida tied Stain up and Native called an ambulance.

Just then, Gran Torino appeared and kicked Midoriya in the face, rather aggressively. "I thought I told the two of you to stay on the bullet train!" He scolded you.

Iida bowed down to the three of you. "I'm really sorry!" He said. He apologised for getting us mixed up in his fight.

"Stand up, Iida. You're the class rep, aren't you?" Everyone smiled.

But before you could celebrate, a moster like creature came flying out of nowhere and hoisted you out of Todoroki's arms, flying upwards.

"Y/N" Todoroki screamed. The creature's blood splattered everywhere. Without wasting a second, Stain broke free and licked the monsters blood from a pro hero's face.

The monster was immobilized and he ran towards it into the air and slashed it. You fell to the ground. You looked up and caught a glimpse of Endeavor charging towards Stain.

"Endeavour.... You fake!" Stain howled. "Come on! JUST TRY AND STOP ME YOU FAKES! THE ONLY ONE ILL LET KILL ME IS A TRUE HERO- ALL MIGHT!"

Just then, he froze. He was unconscious. That was the last thing you saw before you blacked out.
