You raised your hand up to the hazy glass in front of you and wiped a portion of the steam.

You stared at yourself in the mirror as you slipped on a short tank top and dried your hair.

Your eyes trailed towards the numerous scars on your body. You had never given it much thought- the scar on your side. But now you knew where it was from. You sighed as you recollected the memories.

The door creaked open, interrupting your train of thought.

"Katsuki?" Your head snapped in his direction. "Why are you in my house at 12 in the night?" You exclaimed.

He just shrugged. "You left the front door open." He simply stated.
"So you barged into my bathroom!" You screamed and threw a bar of soap at his head.

He easily caught it and chuckled before leaning against the door frame. "Couldn't look into your bathroom from home." He smirked. You turned back towards the mirror and went back to drying your hair, hoping to wipe away the redness spreading across your cheeks with your half soaked towel.

You didn't have to look at him to see that he was eyeing you through the thin shirt covering your body. He loved how flustered you got when he said things like that.

He walked up behind you and rested his calloused hands on your hips. Chills ran down your spine as you felt his fingertips trace over your bare waist, slipping slightly under the hem of your shirt.

They lingered on the scar on your side and circled over it. You instantly felt better. It was almost as if he was erasing the memories attached to it. You almost felt reassured- like he was going through it with you- like you weren't alone. It almost hurt less than it did a minute ago. Did he somehow know you were thinking about it? How did he always know exactly what would make you feel better?

His ruby eyes bore into yours through the mirror as if they were looking right into your heart which was skipping beats every time they trailed over your body, filled with desire.

He wrapped his arms around you and pulled your body backwards into his, hugging you. Then, he rested his chin on your shoulder and placed a kiss on the side of your jaw without taking his gaze off of yours, making you gasp out loud.

He smirked at the effect he had on you. But his smile suddenly dropped a bit. "I love you." He said abruptly.

You smiled and cupped his face. "You know I will always support you, right?"

You raised an eyebrow. Where was he going with this?

"So... If you don't want to become a hero, it's okay. I'm sorry I reacted badly earlier. I promise I'll keep you safe anyway."

You blinked. You had completely forgotten about that. After you had met your mother, your heart was set ablaze. You could believe even for a second that you were having second thoughts about being a hero.

You never had any family you cared about before. But now that you did, there was no chance in hell that you would ever risk their safety. It made you realise that you had people to care about. You could never lose her again.

You tightened your grip around Katsuki's arm. You could never lose him either. You had almost lost him twice. But never again would that happen.

You had to keep fighting for them.

"I know." You said. He smiled but you could see pain in his eyes. You cupped his face.

You felt extremely guilty about the misunderstanding you had had. Katsuki had been kind enough to forgive you for it right away. But that didn't stop your heart from throbbing due to what you had put him through.
