Him Again (Bakugou Katsuki x Reader)

39. Camp

You and Mina were seated next to each other on the bus. "I can't believe he lied to us!" Mina complained. "I mean- i nearly had a heart attack there!"

"Mina," you laughed. "Just be thankful he's taking you." She pouted. You sweat dropped at her.

You were on your way to the summer camp. You couldn't wait to get there already. You glanced over at Katsuki. He smiled back- an expression he only gave you.

Unfortunately, someone noticed. "Woah! Is that a smile I see on Bakugou's face?" Mineta said. You rolled your eyes. You hated that pervert.

He glanced at you. "Dang it. Looks like Y/N's taken by Bakugou of all the people!"
"W-WHAT?" You blushed profusely. "We're not dating."

"Sure, Y/N." Momo said, popping up from the seat behind you. "We've all seen you." She sing songed.

"What the fuck do you mean, ponytail." Momo smirked. "A few days ago, Tooru, Kyoka and I saw you ice skating together."

"S-SO WHAT? WE'RE JUST FRIENDS!"
"Oh yeah." Hagakure said. "Friends totally share ice cream and kiss in parks."

You and Bakugou went completely red. Fuck. Everyone knew. Hagakure had probably stalked you. Damn her quirk. Everyone gasped and snickered. Kirishima even whistled earning a cuss from Bakugou.

"Y-you saw wrong! That wasn't us!" Katsuki yelled, his face steaming. You sweat dropped at him. There was no point in even lying at that point.

"K-K-K-Kacchan and Y/N ar-" Midoriya stuttered. "SHUT IT, DAMN DEKU! I DON'T EVEN LIKE HER!" Katsuki yelled. But everyone was just laughing at him now, now sure that he was lying.

"Didn't he tell you he loved you a few days ago?" Mina whispered, giggling. "Shh!" You laughed.

Just then, "We're here!" Aizawa announced. "Huh? What do you mean? We're in the middle of nowhere!" Kaminari said in confusion.

"Yes. Now get out of the bus." When you lept off your jaw dropped. "The Wild Wild Pussycats?" Midoriya marvelled, and began ranting about them.

One of them pointed into the distance. "Thats the camp! At the base of the mountain!" She said.

"Woah that's a long way..." You said. "Yeah." Mina said. "Well. Let's get back on the bus now."

"Yep." Everyone began turning back but- "You have to reach there by noon if you want lunch." Mandalay said. "Its 9 am right now so if you don't make it in time, no lunch for you!" She smiled.

Everyone's jaws were on the floor. "NOOOOO!" Kaminari cried. You sighed. There was no choice.

The class made their way into the forest and began trekking down. Then, a beast like creature appeared in front of you but you and Katsuki took it down easily.

Great. I knew this wasn't going to be easy. You groaned and began making your way down the mountain with Katsuki.

It was noon and you had reached the base of the mountain, completely exhausted. The Pussycats congratulated you and everyone looked at them like they were about to punch them.

Midoriya introduced himself to the boy who was with them and he kicked Midoriya in the nuts. "WOAH!" Iida said. "Low blow."

Katsuki laughed and said. "Ha! I like that spunk!" You smacked him but you were laughing too.

"Sorry about that, that's my nephew, Kota." Mandalay apologised. "He's just like you, Bakugou." Todoroki remarked. "HAAH-"

Just then Aizawa said "Put your bags in your room. Dinner will be served and you will bathe and go to sleep after that.

The next day was all about improving quirks. Aizawa had individually assigned specific training strategies for the class to follow.

Katsuki dipped his hands into boiling hot water to help with the intensity of his explosions. Todoroki was working on getting his ice and fire to work together.

"Y/N." Aizawa said. "Your quirk seems to be nesr perfect. There is of course room for improvement but for that, you need to increase your agility, stamina and physical attack power. So, I will be sparring with you, personally."

Your jaw fell open. Great. Just my luck! You almost cried out loud.

By the end of the day, you were exhausted. Aizawa had shown no mercy. He seemed to know you would try to use your quirk and would wipe it off as soon as you tried to.

"No using quirks!" He would yell. You were beyond exasperated with the pro hero. You were all banged up and sweaty when you met up with the rest of the group.

And to make matters even worse, you had to prepare your own food. You almost laughed at your awful luck.

You looked at Katsuki. He looked sweaty and exhausted too. But he just looked so comfortable, so much like home.

He glanced at you too and flashed you a grin. You forgot about the rest of your classmates and almost threw yourself into his arms.

"Woah, Bakugou! You're really good at cutting vegetables!" You heard Uraraka marvel while you and Todoroki were washing vegetables together, much to Katsuki's annoyance.

"Shut up. How can anybody be bad at it?" He howled back, making you chuckle. "He's actually great at cooking." You said. "You would know." Kaminari said, making Bakugou swear and call him names.

Todoroki felt his heart sink when he saw you blush. He had been so excited to be paired up with you.

After dinner, "Let's play a mini game!" the Pussycats suggested. They explained the rules. Class 1A would walk around the forest in pairs while Class 1B would try to scare them with their quirks.

You got paired up with Midoriya. "Deku!" Katsuki began. "Switch."
"Katsu, no! That's not allowed."

He grumbled and walked into the forest with Todoroki. You giggled at him. "Y/N. Are you and Kacchan together?"

You almost choked. If Midoriya could see it, you were sure everyone else could too. "W-well... Not exactly-" you sighed. "Yes."

Even though you were the one telling him, Midoriya was the one that seemed to blush profusely. "Well, I kind of expected that." He said.

"Is it that obvious?"
"No. It's just that I've never seen Kacchan behave the way he does with you with anyone else. When we were kids, he was always different with you, kinder, nice and it's the same now."

You blushed and looked away. It was true. You remembered how he had treated you the day you met him in the park and compared it to how he treated you right after knowing that it was you. He had a special place in his heart for you.

"Anyway, let's get going." You said, changing the topic.
