Kylee and Leon combined spared sixteen and a half thousand. That was promising. This would be a good chunk of money to help Charlotte. Even with the large donations, it wasn't nearly enough for the entire costs, although he never expected to be able to help her that much, anyways.

Aaron set up a meeting between Parker and Rebecca, as promised. He told Parker to meet him under his art bridge. So, he did. Aaron’s motorcycle was parked on the side of the road when he got there. After also parking on the side of the road, he walked down the path that led to the under part of the bridge.

Aaron and Rebecca were there. They didn't notice him right away. They were both sharing a bottle of booze. Aaron’s backpack was by his side. It seemed he hadn't started painting yet. Parker stepped forward so that they noticed him.

“Oh, yoooo..!” Aaron stood up to greet him, holding out his hand. They dapped each other up.

Parker and Rebecca made eye contact. Her eyes were wide with curiosity. “Ohh, who's this, Ron?”

Aaron chuckled. “This is my man Parker. Close friend of mine.” A light bulb seemed to go off in her head, her eyes widening

Parker smiled, giving a small wave. “Nice to meet you. Rebecca, right?”

She giggled. “Yeah! You're Charlotte’s bestie, right?!” She excitedly asked. Parker nodded in response. “Oh my gosh, you're so sweet to her, dudee! When we were in jail together, she told me a lot about you! You're just as cool as she said you were!”

He awkwardly chuckled, smiling just as awkwardly. “Really?” He laughed. “Thanks.”

“Yeahhh.” She beamed. She looked at Aaron. “Did you invite him here or something, Ron?”

“Yeah.” He smiled affirmatively, half lidded eyes. “Want a drink, Parker?”

“No.” He laughed. He didn't want to be drunk when he had to drive home. “I'll take a cigarette if you've got one, though.” It’d help ease his nerves briefly to ask Rebecca for some cash.

“Hell yeah, man.” He went to his backpack and grabbed a cigarette and lighter. He handed them to Parker.

Parker lit the thing, then took a breath. Smoke poured from his lips. Rebecca watched with a smile, her mind lost in thought. “Did you have something planned?” She asked Aaron.

“Kinda.” He admitted, downing the rest of his drink. “I'll leave it to Parker to explain it to you.”

Her eyes averted to him curiously. Parker flustered a little, unprepared to be put on the spotlight so soon. “Ah- right.” He cleared his throat, the cigarette hovering near his lips. “Uh, I know we've never met before, but I need a huge favor from you– it's relating to Charlotte.”

Her brows perked. “Oh, Charlotte? Alright! I’ll help you out. She's such a cutie. Real funny, that girl. You tryna ask her out or something?” She giggled.

Parker smiled awkwardly. “Ah, hahah-, no.” He took a quick puff of smoke. “So, uh, she recently got a mold infection, if you know what that is.”

“Hmmm..” She put a hand to her chin. “Are you talking about that weird thing on her face?”

“Yeah.”

“Ohhhhhh, hahahah!” She snickered. “I thought that that thing was just me seeing things.” She giggled. “Maybe I'm not as hopeless as I thought.”

“Nahhh, don't worry, cause I thought it was some spilled paint for the longest time.” Aaron chuckled.

Parker laughed along awkwardly with them. “Yeah, that's.. that's her infection.”

“Okay, okay, okay. So.” Rebecca put her hands together. “What about it? Does it need a lil group kiss to make it go away?” She grinned ear to ear.

Parker snickered, stifling a laugh. He wished it was that simple. “No, no,” He chuckled. “She needs to get surgery to remove it.”

“What, you need money?” She giggled.

Parker smiled lightly. “Huh. Yeah, actually. Surprised you figured it out so quickly.”

“Ahhh, so you do! I have money. I have lots of money to give.” She beamed.

“Really?”

“Yeahhh! My parents are rich.” She laughed. “They give me money so I can enjoy myself.”

He hummed. So, she was spoiled. “I see.. Well,” He sucked in a breath. “Anything helps. Charlotte needs to get rid of that mold. She could possibly end up dying.”

“Really?” She asked, wonder lacing her tone. “Well, we can't have her dying before me!” She laughed.

Parker rolled his eyes, cheeks puffed in half amusement, half disgusted. Jesus, this girl was a nutcase. “Well- yeah. Hahah.”

“I'll give you some money! I, uh.. don't have my wallet with me right now, though.”

“S’all good, Becca. You can pay him later.” Aaron gave her a thumbs up. He turned to Parker. “Yo, wanna stay a little while longer since you're here?”

Parker chuckled. “Uh, sure, actually. It's been a minute since I've watched you draw.”

He laughed, pumping a fist in the air. “Hell yeah! Prepare to be wowed then, dude!”

“Yyeahhh..! Go do it, Aaron!” Rebecca echoed the cheer.

Parker laughed. “My socks are ready to be knocked off.”
