She flew out to Washington a few weeks later. After landing, she got a ride to a quaint, secluded little home.
She stepped out of the car. It was a beautiful day out. Sun rays came through the trees in flashes. The accumulated rain from the previous day’s downpour remained on the curb and in the grass. Charlotte took in the clear air, a positive buzz coursing through her skin. She stared at the small home, ready for the meeting.
She walked up to the front door as the ride she got drove away.
She rang the doorbell.
A few moments passed.
A smile remained on her face.
The door opened.
A scented candle had opened it. Behind her, a green backpack and a red soda bottle.
“Charlotte!” Amelia greeted happily.
“Woahh, you look great!” Bryce complimented, laughing.
“It's so cool to see you without your mold, Charlotte.” Liam added.
She laughed, overwhelmed by their positive greetings. “Gosh, it's so nice to see you guys again.”
“It's been too long.” Amelia agreed. “Come in.”
“We've actually been meeting up together for a while now. We missed you, so we did everything we could to get in contact with you so we could invite you over.” Liam explained.
Charlotte snickered, flattered.
“What's changed in your life, man?” Bryce asked.
She chuckled.
“A lot.”

It was an honor. As a little gift to all of you who've read, I'll leave one more chapter with all the notes I took during the creation of this fanfic. It's messy and not very interesting lmao, but it'll give you a bit of insight to what direction I took the story in, what got cut, changed, and the basic premise of the story and scenes.
