I walk into the flower shop, awkwardly looking around at the various assortment of flowers. I must look incredibly lost because one of the store employees comes up to me.
"Are you looking for anything in particular, sir?" She asks politely.
"Ah- um I wanna get a bouquet for my girlfriend." I rub my neck, shifting my weight from foot to foot.
"Do you know any of her favourite flowers?" The girl asks, her eyes seem to light up excitedly.
"Ah she likes daisies." I remember, she told me once before and I'd mentally stored it forever.
"I can help you put together a bouquet of daisies, if you like?" She offers. "Are there any other flowers your girlfriend likes?"
"She likes roses." I say, nodding. "Yeah, daisies and roses."
"Perfect! Now you just wait and I'll get a beautiful bouquet ready for you." She grins, turning.
"Ah thank you!" I say quickly.
"Be right back!"

"Y/n! I'm home."
I hear the quiet thumps of socked feet on hardwood floorboards as my girlfriend runs to greet me. She slides into sight, hopping when she sees me.
"Keiji! Welcome back!" She grins, coming to hug me.
"Hey love." I laugh lifting her up to hug her tightly.
"I missed you." She chirps, kissing my cheek happily.
"I saw you just this morning." I peck her lips.
"Yeah but you weren't home at all." She pouts.
"I got you something." I set her back down on the floor, handing her the bouquet of flowers I got for her today. "I know these are your favourites."
"You remembered!" She beams, eyes lighting up as she takes the bouquet in her habds and smells the flowers. "Keiji I love them."
"Good they were expensive." I lean down and kiss her cheek before moving.
I go open the fridge, grabbing the bottle of water and a glass to drink. Y/n pulls up a chaur at the island table.
"How was your day?" I ask as I pour a glass.
"It was okay." She shrugs, taking picutres of the flowers. "I missed you though." She looks up pointedly.
"Sorry love." I hide my smile with a sip of water.
"How was your day Keiji?" Y/n asks, setting her phone down and resting her head on her hands, the flowers tucked in between.
"It was okay. Really busy though." I sigh.
"You had to go to Miyagi right? How was that?" Y/n asks.
"Took the train, it was okay." I take another sip of water. "I ran into Daichi after my meeting."
"Oh that's nice!" She smiles. "How's he now?"
"He's good, I think, he and his wife are expecting a baby in July." I say. "We got coffee together and caught up."
"Oh I remember their wedding." Y/n smiles at the memory. "Small, but it was beautiful."
"I'm surprised they're already having kids though." I nod. "We're still pretty young. Daichi's only twenty-four right?"
"Yeah but Daichi always kinda seemed to be the type to have kids young, I dunno why." She says thoughtfully.
I think for a second.
"You're kinda right." I realise. "He'd make a great father anyhow."
"He really would. I mean he dealt with those crows for the longest time so..." Y/n snickers.
"No true." I laugh. "Those guys really never took anything seriously."
"I mean. You look at Fukurodani's old team too though..." She says wryly. "Bokuto and Konoha...?"
"..."
"Y'know I almost forgot."
