"Happy birthday love."

I stir slightly at the sound of my boyfriend's quiet voice. "Mm, Keiji?"

"Good morning beautiful." He pressed his lips to my forhead.

"Happy birthday my love." He said again as I sit up groggily.

"Hey love. Thanks." I smile, blinking.

"C'mon. I made breakfast." He gently leads me out of bed and to the kitchen.

I smell pancakes.

"What'd you make?" I ask.

"Birthday pancakes! For my darling Y/n." He smiled. "Ta-da."

There on the counter sat two plates of pancakes, one having a scoop of ice scream on top, chocolate drizzled on top with the words "happy birthday Y/n" piped in chocolate. Strawberries lined the sides of the plate, forming hearts all around the edge.

"Aww Keiji, this is so cute." I admire the plate, popping a strawberry into my mouth.

"Eat it." He urges.

As the day continues, Keiji surprises me with more and more thoughtful little presents.

"Here."

Keiji hands me a bouquet of roses, kissing my cheek.

"I love you." He smiles as I smell the roses happily.

"I love you more." I grin.

"That's impossible, love." He smiles.

"Not!" I set the roses down on the table to give him a big hug. I make a mental remider to put those in a vase later, though I'll probably still forget.

"It is." He laughs, sliding a hand under my legs and scooping me up.

"Ah! Kei!" I squeal as he carries me to the sofa.

"We have dinner at seven, so let's cuddle for now." He whispers.

"I'm gonna fall back asleep." I laugh, snuggling into him as he starts to play with my hair.

"It's okay." He smiles. "You can sleep if you want."

"Wake me up if I do fall asleep." I smile.

"Of course."

I did turn out to fall asleep.

"N/n. Wake up love."

"Hm?"

"It's 5:30. We should get ready for dinner." He says.

"Oh right." Then I shoot up in excitement. "I've been waiting for an oppurtunity to wear this dress!"

"Whatever it is you'll look gorgeous." He kisses my forehead quickly before I run off to go change.

It takes about an hour to get ready, it takes Keiji fifteen minutes but that's besides the point.

"Y/n you look beautiful." He murmurs, coming up behind me while I check myself in the mirror.

"Thanks Keiji." I smile.

"I love you." I turn my head to kiss his jaw.

"I love you more."

He kisses me softly.

"That's impossible." I smile, leaning into his second kiss.
