if anyone of you rmb i made a oneshot called "boots" in which mitsuki and you want to get a cat and akaashi is like wtf

this is a part 2 of that lol

(akaashi pov)

"Boots! Boo boo~" Y/n calls as we enter her apartment, shared with Mitsuki.

I hear the pitter patter of paws on hard wood floors as my girlfriend's cat runs up to greet us.

"Hey Boo Boo!" Y/n grins, bending down to pet her cat as the black kitten starts winding herself around her legs.

After a second Y/n walks away to put her bag down while I go to sit on her couch, yawning. She plops down with boots a second later.

"You're free later right?" Y/n asks, absentmindedly petting Boots

"Yeah, I don't have anything planned." I nod.

"Then have dinner with me and Mitsuki later." She suggests. "Mitsu wanted to invite Bo and Yura too."

"Yeah sure. I'll ask Bokuto." I reach over to pet Boots.

The cat stands up and settles herself on my own lap, purring loudly.

"Hey! Boots come back!" Y/n frowns.

The black and white cat meows in response, rubbing her face on my chest.

"She just likes me better." I say smugly, scratching behing her ear.

"No fair!" Y/n wrinkles her nose. "She's MY cat! Well- and Mitsu, but I signed the paperwork!"

"Your cat but she likes me better so who's really counting." I smirk, fighting for it to not turn into an amused grin.

"Keijiiiiiii." She pouts.

"Skill issue honestly." My grin breaks out onto my face and I lean over to kiss her forehead.

"Meanie." She says, accepting the kiss with a huff. "Not funny..."

"Sorry love." I laugh.

Boots meows loudly as I've stopped petting her.

"Okay maybe it's a little funny." Y/n relents, giggling.

"Maybe a little huh?" I kiss her cheek before standing up (Boots in my arms) and head to the kitchen. "Can I eat something?" I call.

"Just leave Mitsuki's sour cream and onion chips and you're good. Also leave the chicken ones, those are reserved for movie night." She calls back.

"M'kayy."

I'd say life is pretty good...

I'm stealing her barbeque chips.

Maybe her cat too...
