Shawn's Pov:

I was feelings lot right now.

-  anger

- sadness

- satisfied

- vengeful

- happy

- relieved

The list can go on and on.

Deon dropped me off a bit behind the first bus stop, and I was grateful that he spared me from walking so much. The sunrise was at large by the time I actually got back to base. I moved a bit slower so I can gather my thoughts. I don't want to act blindly behind rage, cause I might just kill someone. I need to be calm and collected right now.

It's Sunday so I'm not sure what we have planned. Either we have to be awake early to clean or do a morning jog. Shit like that on a random Sunday. If I'm lucky, we got to sleep-in.

I'm not sure if I'd want to sneak in or just casually walk in since I know they know I'm gone. The light tower spins a red light signaling someone left base without permission. Maybe I could take a shower first then just go to bed.

Walking in just seems easier right about now after the hardships we went through, though, it lead to a bittersweet moment I'll never forget and I just know MG crossed out public sex on that list of hers with her freaky ass.

When approaching the halls, it was very quiet. Extra quiet than usual, but I'm not standing around for trouble to start, so I'm going to my room to get my things for the shower and leaving to the shower rooms.

A cold shower at that, because I can't seem to get that girl out of my mind right now. I had a good streak going on, but I couldn't help myself. It wasn't just sex to me, it was a lot of things at once, some things that I wanted to prove. BUT it seems like my body wanted to go for another round. It wanted her in my skin, my blood.

The cold water isn't doing much to rid of my personal problem as it seems like I can still smell her on me, hear the noises her made, the way she called me. God, it's going to be in my dreams. I can feel my face turning pink from the thoughts.

Now is not the time to be horny. I got some things to settle. The cold water is doing a great job at cooling me off because the thought of seeing those bastards faces pisses me the fuck off. No one messes with the ones I love and care for. I mean that shit.

Getting my head back in the game, I clean myself off, being careful of the freshly new scratches on my back, which almost had me going back a few steps, but I refuse to get distracted. I can think of her later, now I have to focus. This is what she was worried about, and I have to update her either by letter or being at the front door.

I finished in the locker room, heading back to my room where my roommate , Zeke, was awake, and giving me the crazy bug eyes.

"Preston?" He's looking like he saw a ghost or like someone came back from the dead.

"Yeah?"

"How the hell did you get in this morning?" Huh, I mean it was odd that I was able to just walk back without being stopped first. No guards, commander, lieutenant, no one.

"Walked in." I let my body fall back onto my bed, enjoying the bounce it performed.

"The lieutenant and commander came back really late last night and you disappeared. Something bad happened last night, right?" Zeke has always been an observant guy. You'd think he was psychic the way he can pick up on someone's body language.

"Why do you think that?"

"You left and the reporter is gone too." Okay, so does everyone know that?
