(The hairstyle for the graduation)
Megan's Pov:
"Harvey, I must be dreaming. Am I dreaming?!"
"No darling, I see the two clear as day."
I giggle at Loreign's and Harvey antics as always. It's been some time since we've seen them and yet they look like they haven't aged a day since. I will say they've changed for sure, Loreign has dyed her hair blue, that dump truck got bigger, her face is fuller. Harvey dyed his beard blue to match his wife's, and he's gotten ripped.
"I never thought I'd see the two of you here again." Loreign gives Shawn a mamma bear hug, which he reciprocates with less strength. "You've gotten so big and strong. Think you can lift me in the air."
"Down, girl." Harvey pats his wife's back, letting out a full belly laugh. "Let the boy speak."
"Oh, and Megan." Loreign pulls me in an equally bone crushing hug. "Jesus, all that ass." And when she pulls away, she looks down at my chest. "Cash in them racks." Loreign gives me kiss on my cheek then stands back next to Harvey. Shawn as he did back then, tugged me closer against him. She just fanned herself and smiled.
Loreign is a character full of life, she loves her husband but has a taste for women too. She's definitely like an cousin who twerks on you, even if she's way older than us.
"Oh, excuse my manners, come on in and have a seat wherever you like. I'll be right at your table to get your orders and catch up." And she hopped off towards the counter.
"You'd have to forgive her. She got a fortune cookie that said she'd be seeing some old friends, and lo and behold, here you two are. Miss. Megan, it's been some time, you've matured into a beautiful young woman. You'd have to tell me about that Miracle school." Harvey pulls me into a gentle hug, then releases me.
"Mr. Shawn, I have to say you've become a very handsome young man. Glad to see you, son. Please, help yourselves before my wife comes back. You know how she is." Harvey leads us to our usual booth. Well, our area in a newer furnished booth.
"I love what you've done with the place." I tell Harvey, who just chuckles. He loves compliments and praise, he acts like Bashful the Dwarf. He reaches the other end of the table to pull out our menus for us to pick our food. I didn't even look through it because I already know what I want, while Shawn skims through it since he always gets something different.
"Thank you, my dear. We had some designers move thing around. It was time for an upgrade, and in a couple of years, we'll be making our door visible to the public." My eyebrows shoot up as I make eye contact with Shawn at the news. This place, that's basically a standing target for arson, going public would be a very bold decision.
"What brought that decision?" Shawn sets his menu down on the table. the two men chit chat for a bit while I observe the scene. Those blue, purple lights we used to dance in are glow white and pink. The disco era has officially been retired, we got a lot of new everything taking place this decade. The once decorated red seats near the kitchen became a bar, still red but very alluring.
"Can I get a oreo milkshake for the lady?"
"Of course, I see some things never change." Harvey doesn't bother writing anything down. He always remember everything down to a T. "I'm suprised you two aren't married, or I don't know... on your third kid." He looks at Shawn as he speaks, and I nearly choke on my spit. A third kid? Not that I blame them for asking such questions. It is rare for a woman my age to not be married or have at least one child. I gotta put me first.
