"I'm not even gone ask." I can hear Nana say, going into the kitchen after she stumbled in living room catching me doing my push-ups. If I want to go back, I still need to be in shape. I still use my schedule of waking up early and working out so I won't suffer any drastic changes.

It's been a week since I've came back home, and I'm starting to get the gist of the daily schedule here at home. Nana keep Baby Jer while Michelle goes to school. She will be graduating this year too, a year push back wasn't going to stop her. He's 4 now, and talks what he thinks is words but nonsense to me.

"Uncle Shawny..." That's what he calls me. "I want to go in water to clean...cuz sticky." He's still learning to form complete sentences but you can still tell what he wants. It just blows my mind that he skips every other human to take him to wash his hands.

"Okay." But I'm a sucker for him so I can't tell him no.

It's so strange that this walking monster was once that little baby I used to hold. Where did all the time go? He has teeth, talks, walks, and goes to the bathroom by himself. He even knows how to lie, play tricks. I'm watching him now, pull his stool out so he can step on it in the bathroom and wash his hands. Hell, he washes his hands better than most adults.

"Shawny, can you turn the water off?"

"You literally know how to." is what I would have said if he wasn't looking at me with those puppy dog eyes. This tiny human knows how to get his way without so much of a word said.

"Can we play outside again today? I want to go to the park."

And that's how we ended up at the park later today when the sun began to set and the wind gave a cool breeze. Deon had came over fresh from work, and joined in on the fun, rather tired. Monica and Megan made it home back from school since Nana gave my whereabouts so they were here lickety-split. Jonah, well, he'll always be where his wife is.

The married couple seems to be extra excited today, playing with Jeremiah. An evil thought crossed my head, and I can't help the silent sinister laugh that escaped my lips when I completed my last lap.

Finishing off with a jog, I grab my bottle of water and shooting some of it in my mouth before walking over to the couple playing house with Baby Jer.

"So Mo..." I wrap my towel around the back of my neck, interrupting the groups imaginary cook-off. Jeremiah holds gravel in his hands passing it to Megan and Jonah like it's grapes. Deon plays the customer making his order. Monica, his assistant chef, looks over at me.

"Que?"

"When will Jeremiah be getting a cousin?"
