The program is fast approaching, and Theo is nowhere to be found. Nakapagpractice naman na kami, but I just wanted to wrap things up. Agad ko siyang tinext pagkagising ko kinabukasan.
I'm sorry, I know you don't want to hear from me anymore. But, can we practice for the program? I just want to do a rerun.
They were also eating their breakfast. Napalingon ako sa orasan and saw that it's already 8 in the morning.
"Hi, Ally." Ngumiti sa akin si Ate Kristelle. Kuya was reading the newspaper beside her. "Kumain ka na."
I smiled back at her and sat down to join them.
"Ate, sobrang thank you talaga na-convince mo 'to si Kuya to sponsor this event. Sobrang nakaka-overwhelm." I said.
Ngumiti siya like an angel that she is. "He was also very willing. We personally went to the foundation and saw how depressing it was kaya naman without a doubt, naisip niya agad to and told Tita and Tito."
Patuloy sa pagkain si Kuya.
Ngumuso ako. "Ako lang pala hindi nakakaalam?"
"Biglaan din kasi since you guys only have a short period of time before the event. Right, hon?"
I have never known my Kuya as a romantic person- he's always serious. He likes to be in control of things, like the company or the dance troupe. Ate Kristelle, on the other hand, is a sweet thing with advocacy and a passion to serve, hence, her going to med school. Opposite does attract, huh?
"How are you and Spencer?"
"Telle.." Sambit ni Kuya.
"What? They're cute, and I know Spencer likes your sister." She winked at me.
Para akong nabulunan sa narinig.
"Ally is still young. Spencer knows his limits." Kuya said confidently.
Wow. I'm not young, hindi na ako minor.
"Young? But you started dating me when we were 16!" Tumawa si Ate Telle, trying to reminisce.
"Spencer and I are different. Spencer still doesn't know where his life is heading."
"You two talk as if wala ako rito ha." I interrupted.
Humalakhak si Ate Telle. Gusto ko pa magtanong sa kanya how she thinks Spencer likes me but I don't want to seem so interested.
Hence, that question bothered me.
There was no reply from Theo, figured he was probably still sleeping since wala naman kaming pasok the whole week dahil University Fair.
When I opened the studio, agad nagtama ang tingin namin ni Spencer sa salamin. He's here and my heart can't keep its control. Again. I needed to remind myself that I'm only seeing him for a mission, and nothing else. Kasi kung hindi, I know I'll be back to zero again. And as much as I want his company, I don't want that to happen. I don't want my life to revolve in a continuous cycle.
Being here with him reminds me of the last time he was dancing solo. When he talked to his cousin about Yvette. And the way he sounded serious.
"Lakas talaga makabahay ha, dito ka na ba nakatira?" I closed the door behind me.
