Hoseok sat at the dining table, surrounded by the six brothers, each one of them stealing glances at him as he ate. He couldn't help it; he was ravenous. His cheeks were puffed out like a hamster's, stuffed with rice and beef jerky, making him look undeniably cute, though the situation was far from it.

Jin, seated beside him, noticed how hastily Hoseok was shoveling food into his mouth. "Hoseokie, slow down," Jin said softly, his voice laced with concern. "You’ll choke if you eat like that."

Hoseok paused, his chopsticks hovering over another side dish. He looked at Jin with a mix of suspicion and annoyance. He knew Jin's concern was just another act. Without saying a word, he dropped his chopsticks and nervously chewed the food in his mouth, swallowing hard before taking a sip of water.

But the hunger gnawed at him, persistent and overwhelming. He picked up his chopsticks again and began eating, more slowly this time, but every fiber of his being wanted to devour the food as fast as he could. The baby inside him was relentless, demanding more and more. It felt like he was feeding an elephant; no matter how much he ate, it was never enough. It was infuriating.

Jin reached out, his hand moving toward Hoseok’s lips to wipe away the oil that had smeared there. Startled, Hoseok flinched and pulled away, his heart racing as he braced for a hit.

Jin frowned, not liking the extreme fear Hoseok displayed. Even though he wanted Hoseok to fear him, this reaction stung in a way he didn’t expect. "Relax, I’m not going to hurt you," Jin said softly, his tone almost gentle.

Hoseok hesitated, but Jin didn’t give him a choice. Jin picked up a napkin and gently wiped Hoseok’s lips, drawing him closer. Hoseok stiffened under Jin’s touch, his eyes focused on the table in front of him.

"I can do it myself," Hoseok muttered, reaching for the napkin, but Jin ignored him and continued wiping his lips. When he was done, Jin leaned in and pressed a soft peck on Hoseok’s lips.

Hoseok didn’t react, didn’t flinch this time. He just continued to eat, his mind disconnected from the scene unfolding around him.

The other brothers chuckled at the sight, amused by the dynamic between Jin and Hoseok. "You two look like a couple," Namjoon teased, his eyes glinting with mischief.

Jin smiled, but Hoseok rolled his eyes, irritation bubbling beneath his calm exterior. I would rather die than be in a relationship with these beasts, he thought bitterly.

Suddenly, Hoseok felt a hand on his thigh. He glanced down and saw it was Yoongi’s hand, his grip firm yet possessive. Hoseok looked at Yoongi, who was watching him with an unreadable expression. Hoseok’s gaze lingered on the hand for a moment before he resumed eating, trying to ignore the sensation of Yoongi’s touch.

"How about we go out for a picnic tomorrow?" Yoongi suggested, his voice casual but his eyes fixated on Hoseok.

Hoseok’s heart skipped a beat, and despite himself, his eyes lit up at the idea. A picnic? Outside? It sounded like a dream, a brief escape from the suffocating reality of his life here. He quickly schooled his expression, trying to hide his excitement.

The other brothers nodded in agreement, clearly intrigued by the idea. Taehyung shrugged nonchalantly. "That would be great. We could do it at the park and rent the entire place so it’s just us."

Jungkook turned to Hoseok, his gaze softening slightly. "What about you, Hoseok? Do you want to come too?"

Hoseok swallowed, feeling the weight of their expectations pressing down on him. He knew he had no choice but to say yes. "Y-yes," he stammered, his voice shaky. "I’d like that."

They all nodded, satisfied with his answer. "Then it’s settled," Namjoon said with finality. "We’ll go tomorrow. It’ll be fun."

Hoseok nodded mechanically, his mind already racing with thoughts of what tomorrow might bring. He knew they’d be watching him closely, but maybe—just maybe—he could find a way to escape. The idea was dangerous, risky, but the thought of freedom, however fleeting, was enough to ignite a tiny spark of hope within him.

As the conversation shifted to other topics, the brothers laughed and joked, but Hoseok remained silent, lost in his thoughts. I just hope this picnic doesn’t turn into another trap, he mused, his heart heavy with dread. They all hoped the outing would go smoothly—without Hoseok trying to escape.

But Hoseok had other plans...
