The journey back to South Korea was eerily silent, the tension in the air thick enough to cut through. Hoseok sat in the private jet, his heart heavy with despair as he stared out the window, watching the clouds pass by. His mind was a whirlwind of fear and anxiety, his thoughts consumed by what awaited him on the other side of this flight.

Lila and Noah were seated beside him, their innocent eyes wide with confusion. They didn't understand why they had to leave their home so suddenly, why their father was so quiet, so distant. Hoseok wanted to comfort them, to tell them everything would be okay, but he couldn't bring himself to lie to them—not now, not when everything was crumbling around him.

Namjoon, Jin, Jimin, Taehyung, Yoongi, and Jungkook were seated across from them, their expressions unreadable, but their presence alone was enough to suffocate Hoseok. He could feel their eyes on him, watching him like hawks, waiting for any sign of resistance. But Hoseok was too tired, too broken to fight back.

Noah shifted in his seat, his small hand reaching out to touch Hoseok's arm. "Mummy, where are we going?" He asked, his voice soft and filled with uncertainty.

Hoseok forced a smile, though it didn't reach his eyes. "We're going to a new place, sweetheart," he whispered, his voice trembling slightly. "It's... it's a place where we'll be safe."

Noah looked up at Hoseok, his young face scrunched in confusion. "But why did we have to leave so fast? And why are those men coming with us?"

Hoseok’s throat tightened. How could he explain this to his children? How could he tell them that the very men who were supposed to be their protectors were the ones who had destroyed his life? He swallowed hard, forcing down the bile that rose in his throat. "They're... they're old friends of mine," he lied, his voice barely above a whisper. "They just want to make sure we're okay."

The lie tasted bitter on his tongue, but it was the only thing he could say. The truth was too horrific to burden his children with.

As the plane began its descent, Hoseok’s anxiety spiked. His palms were clammy, his heart racing as they drew closer to the place he had once called home—a place he had never wanted to return to. He could feel the walls closing in on him, the memories of his past life with these men resurfacing with a vengeance.

When the plane touched down, the reality of the situation hit him like a freight train. There was no turning back now. They were back in South Korea, and Hoseok’s nightmare was just beginning.

The six men stood up, their movements calm and controlled, as if this was just another day in their lives. But for Hoseok, every step he took off that plane felt like a march toward his own doom.

Namjoon led the way, his tall frame imposing as he stepped onto the tarmac. Jin followed closely behind, his face as unreadable as ever. Taehyung’s eyes were cold, his jaw clenched as he walked beside Jimin, who looked more irritated than anything else. Yoongi and Jungkook brought up the rear, their expressions betraying nothing of what they were thinking.

Hoseok held Lila and Noah’s hands tightly as they walked down the stairs and onto the tarmac. The air was thick with tension, the weight of what was to come pressing down on him. He felt like he was suffocating, his breaths coming in short, shallow gasps.

A fleet of black SUVs waited for them, the windows tinted so dark that Hoseok couldn’t see inside. Namjoon motioned for Hoseok and the twins to get into one of the vehicles. Hoseok hesitated for a moment, his body trembling with fear, but one glance at Namjoon’s cold eyes told him there was no room for resistance.

He guided Lila and Noah into the SUV, sliding in after them. The door closed with a heavy thud, sealing them inside. Hoseok’s heart raced as the engine roared to life, the vehicle pulling away from the airport and into the bustling streets of Seoul.

The drive was long, and the silence inside the car was suffocating. Hoseok stared out the window, his mind racing as he tried to figure out what was going to happen next. His thoughts were interrupted when the SUV finally came to a stop in front of a massive mansion—one that was all too familiar to Hoseok.

The sight of the sprawling estate sent a chill down his spine. Memories of his time here flooded his mind, each one more painful than the last. This was where it had all started—where his life had been torn apart by these men.

The door to the SUV opened, and Namjoon’s voice cut through the silence. “Get out.”

Hoseok swallowed hard, his body trembling as he unbuckled Lila and Noah’s seatbelts and guided them out of the car. His legs felt like jelly as he stepped onto the gravel driveway, his heart pounding in his chest.

Namjoon, Jin, Taehyung, Jimin, Yoongi, and Jungkook stood before him, their eyes locked on him as if waiting for something. Hoseok’s breath hitched as he looked at them, his fear palpable.

“This is where you’ll be staying from now on,” Namjoon said, his voice devoid of any emotion. “You and the twins.”

Hoseok’s heart sank. He knew what this meant—he was their prisoner once again. The illusion of freedom he had clung to for years had been shattered, and there was no escaping it now.

Tears welled up in Hoseok’s eyes as he looked at the mansion, the place that had once been his forced sanctuary but had now become his prison once again. He wanted to scream, to fight, to do anything to protect his children, but he knew it was useless. The power these men held over him was too great, and he was too broken to resist.

Jin stepped forward, his hand reaching out to gently brush a tear from Hoseok’s cheek. “Don’t cry, darling,” he said softly, though his eyes were cold. “We’re your family, remember? We’ll take care of you.”

Hoseok recoiled from Jin’s touch, his body trembling. “This isn’t family,” he whispered, his voice filled with despair. “This is hell.”

Jin’s eyes darkened, but he said nothing, simply stepping back to join the others. Taehyung and Jimin exchanged a glance, but they too remained silent.

Namjoon stepped closer, his gaze locking onto Hoseok’s with an intensity that made Hoseok’s blood run cold. “You’ll do as you’re told,” Namjoon said, his voice firm and unyielding. “If you try to run again, there will be consequences—ones you won’t like.”

Hoseok’s heart clenched in fear, his eyes darting to Lila and Noah, who were standing close by, their small faces filled with confusion and fear. He couldn’t let anything happen to them—not because of him.

He nodded slowly, his voice barely above a whisper. “I understand.”

Namjoon’s expression softened slightly, but it did little to ease Hoseok’s fear. “Good boy. Now, let’s go inside.”

With that, the six men turned and began walking toward the mansion, their footsteps echoing on the gravel. Hoseok hesitated for a moment, his mind screaming at him to run, but his feet were rooted to the spot. He knew there was no escape—not now, not ever.

With a heavy heart, Hoseok took Lila and Noah’s hands and followed them inside, the weight of his decision pressing down on him like a ton of bricks. As they crossed the threshold into the mansion, Hoseok knew that his life as he knew it was over.

The darkness had finally consumed him, and there was no going back.
