"So, let me update you with everything that happened when I went to the Burrow." Harry said, getting comfortable on the bed.
It was evening after dinner. Mrs. Weasley was almost in tears seeing Céline come down with the others. She had engulfed her into a big warm hug. She checked over Céline to see if she hadn't withered away into nothingness. Céline had reassured her that she wasn't starving thanks to Telly.
Mrs. Weasley had made her way into the kitchen to prepare a meal for everyone, to which they thoroughly enjoyed. Now the four of them were all back in Céline's room, all sitting relaxed on her plush bed, while Ginny reluctantly stayed back to help her mother clean up.
"Dumbledore had sent me a letter saying the was coming to get me from the Dursley's house in the evening time, but before going to the Burrow we were going to make a stop before. Apparently, we were paying a visit to an old colleague of his. He was trying to convince the old professor to come out of retirement and return to Hogwarts. His name is Horace Slughorn." Harry said as he rested his head on the headboard of her bed.
"I wonder what the taught." Céline said.
"Well there's only one position that is vacant, so it's likely he's going to be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor." Hermione said.
"Did you like him?" Asked Céline.
"I don't know.." Harry shrugged, "he kind of looked like a walrus and a little superficial. Oh, he was also Head of Slytherin when he was teaching."
"Hmm, I suppose we'll just find out how he is, once school starts again." Céline said.
There was a moment of silence and Celine noticed the glances exchanged between Harry, Ron and Hermione.
"What's wrong?" Céline narrowed her eyes to them.
"Well, Dumbledore is going to be giving me private lessons." Harry said.
"Harry, that's great." Céline said with her eyes wide. "I wonder why he's going to give them to you."
"Well, it's likely because of what the prophecy said." Harry said. Céline looked between the three of them.
"We both watched the orb break and we couldn't hear anything." Céline said. "No one did. I mean there's been speculation in the Prophet, but—"
"The Prophet guessed right. It's about me and Voldemort." He said. "I know what the prophecy said. Dumbledore told me, because the prophecy was made to him."
Céline's hand immediately went to his that was balling up some of her comforter at his side.
Harry took a deep breath, "It basically said that I'm the one who needs to finish Voldemort... at least, it said neither of us could live while the other survives."
Céline stared at him stunned. It took a moment for her to gather herself again, "oh Harry.. and-and how are you with knowing that? Are you scared?" She looked at him worriedly.
"Not as scared as I was when I first heard it." He said, "after a while I kind of figured that I would need to face him in the end."
She hummed in response. She then sighed and patted his hand gently. "Well, I suppose that's that, isn't it. I'm glad to hear that Professor Dumbledore will teach you. I'm sure that means that you have a good chance. And obviously you're not alone in this." She said more surely.
Harry stared at her for a moment and a warmth went through him, Ron and Hermione had said something similar when he told them and he felt this great sense of relief to know that after hearing that, they weren't avoiding him like the plague or see him as someone too dangerous to be around. Instead the three of them embraced him and told him words of comfort.
