The next morning for Harry was both exhausting and exciting, because the night before, he was able to see Dumbledore and dive into the last memory they needed. Where he learned about the Horcruxes, and that both Dumbledore and him were certain that Voldemort had split his soul six different ways. Now that they've already destroyed two with Tom Riddles Diary and Marvolo Gaunt's ring, there were only four left and when Dumbledore finds the location of one of them, he promised that Harry would go with him.
He told Ron and Hermione first thing in Charms. Where they were both impressed by his success in retrieving Slughorn's memory. He couldn't wait to tell Céline about what he had learned. But he didn't see Céline in the Great Hall during lunch, he didn't see her in their Transfiguration lesson either, but he did see Draco and he looked more miserable than he had just a couple of days ago.
During dinner, still no sign of her. When he sees her friends he walked over to them, ignoring the usual stares and glares from other Slytherin students at the table, "Hey Greengrass, Davis, have you seen Céline? I haven't seen her all day, not even in the lessons we have together." He says to them quietly.
The two girls looked at each other wearily before they stood from their seats and led him away from prying ears.
"Good timing, Potter. Did you notice anything when you last saw her?" Daphne asked in a hushed tone. Harry looked at them confused and shook his head.
"I just saw her last night and she seemed fine. We went to see Hagrid." he said. Daphne seemed to ponder his answer, while Tracey looked more concerned. "Is she alright?"
"No, she's not." Daphne said. Harry looked at them more alarmed.
"Why not? Whats wrong?" He asked.
"For starters, she won't leave her bed." sighed Daphne.
"She says that she's just not feeling too well, but.. her eyes are red and puffy, so we know she's been crying." Tracey said quietly. Harry's eyebrows furrowed.
"And you thought it had something to do with me? How do you know it's not Malfoy who's made her cry?" he asked. Harry could feel himself getting upset at the thought of Draco making Céline cry.
"Well, we're pretty certain it has to do with Malfoy, but we wanted to rule out all of our options because we go hunting him down." Daphne said.
"He seemed pretty miserable today when I saw him."
"If that's the case, then I have an idea of what might have happened." Daphne said solemnly as she looked at Tracey who nodded in agreement. It took all but two seconds to realize what they think might have happened between the two of them.
"You think they.." he trailed off
"I've never seen her this sad over a boy before, not even when she and Diggory broke up.." Tracey said. Harry stiffened a little at the name of Cedric, but he understood what she meant. Céline didn't stay upset too long when she and Cedric had ended their relationship, but he knew her relationship with Draco was different. If they were to split, Céline would be heart broken.
The three of them stood there looking down, before Daphne sighed.
"We're going to go see if we can sneak some food from the kitchens to the room so she can eat something." Daphne said. Harry nodded and with that Daphne and Tracey leave the Great Hall. He returned back to Ron and Hermione who were waiting for him at the Gryffindor table.
"Well?" Asks Hermione anxiously as he sits next to Ron. Harry shook his.
"They said she hasn't left her bed all day. But it looks like she's been crying." Harry said. "They have an idea that Malfoy and her might have split."
