The trials ended short after that, and at the end, Draco had chosen; Bletchley as Keeper, Crabbe and Goyle as the Beaters, and Urkhart, Pucey, and Wilmington as his Chaser.
Céline glared at Wilmington who was looking smug in his new position. He looked more smug than ever.
She was rather disappointed with the selection he made for his team. Bletchley she wasn't too upset with, he had actually been a pretty decent Keeper. It was more Crabb and Goyle, they weren't the great on a broom and they were completely brutes.
She still remember when one of them had hit Harry in the back of the head hard after already catching the Snitch and the whistle had been blown.
Then there was Wilmington. She truly believed that Draco wouldn't have chosen him if he heard how he had spoken to her.
She sighed and got up from her seat and headed back to the castle without going to Draco. She was still a bit upset with him denying her outright. She knew they all meant well, but he didn't have to say it so out loud and so harshly for everyone to hear. So she decided that she would avoid him for the rest of the day.
She stayed in her dorm room knowing that was the only place he wouldn't be able to reach her. By the time she checked her watch it was nearing six, the time she was suppose to meet Wilmington. So she got dressed into some more comfortable clothes she usually used to go on a run or practice her flying, and quickly made her way out of the dungeons, carefully making sure to not run into Draco.
When she made it to the entrance she saw it swarming with students waiting for the Great Hall to open for dinner. She briskly walked into the crowd trying to blend in with everyone and made her way out of the front entrance as discreetly as possible.
As she stepped out into the brisk night air, she heard someone clear her throat, which made her jump about a foot of the ground.
As she clutched her chest she looked over to see Daphne standing there with her arms crossed.
"What are you doing?" Daphne asked.
"I could ask you the same, Daph. You nearly gave me a heart attack." Céline said.
"You're not actually going over to the pitch are you?" Daphne said getting closer to her.
"Of course I am. If I don't go and put that git in place, then I'm sure I won't hear the end of it from him." Céline said. She was set on going and showing Wilmington who he's messing with.
"Cél," Daphne sighed, "you shouldn't go. Wilmington is a sexist arse. He talks to everyone like that. He's going to play dirty and you can get hurt. You're not suppose to play sports like Quidditch, because of your arm."
"I'll be fine, Daph. I've dealt with worse people than Wilmington. I'm not afraid." Céline said assuredly. "I'll be back soon." She said and quickly went off before Daphne could say anything else.
Céline made it to the Quidditch pitch and she saw Wilmington standing in the field with the chest that carried the sport balls. She went into the cupboard that held all the brooms and scanned for the least dingy looking one. They were all rubbish looking.
"I've already got one for you, Everhart." Wilmington yelled out to her as he noticed her looking in the closet. She looked over to the two broomstick in his hands. She strode over as confidently as she could, ignoring the way his eyes roamed. "So, Everhart. What's it going to be? We can't really play Quidditch just the two of us. So how about a couple laps around the pitch."
"Hmm." She said looking at indifferently, "that wouldn't be very fair for you, would it though?"
Céline noticed his smirk twitch downward for a second.
