They all stood there for a moment, before Ron, Ginny and Neville began to fight the squad off. Millicent pulled her wand out, but Céline quickly pulled hers and shouted, "Stupefy!" At her promptly knocking her down motionless. Draco turned around in complete shock.
A couple more Stunning strikes, a Disarming Charm and an Impediment Jinx the four of them were free. Ginny was about to strike Draco, but Céline jumped in the way to block him. "No!"
"Move Céline!" Ginny said angrily.
"Please." She pleaded.
Ginny frowned, Ron placed a hand on her shoulder and looked at Céline. "You got five minutes, Cél." He said. She nodded as they all left the room.
"A weapon?" Draco said in disbelief. Céline let out a shaky sigh before turning to look at Draco's furious gaze.
"No.. we really don't know about any weapon... at least not coming from Dumbledore... Honestly ." She said quietly.
"Honestly?" He let out a dry laugh. "Have you ever been honest with me?"
Céline's eyes widened and watered, "what? Of course!"
"Really? Then what about the secret army you were in. Didn't quite tell me the truth about that one, did you?"
"But I didn't lie about that either! I told you I wouldn't tell you anything that can be used against them."
"Them." He spat. "Those people have done nothing but get you in trouble. They're making you lie, making you use your friends to create diversions— seriously? Greengrass and Davis?." he said angrily. "Why?"
Tears were now streaming down her face and Draco couldn't help but soften his glare. She knew she had to tell him, otherwise he wouldn't understand how she desperately needs to leave at that moment.
"I— it's— someone very important to us is going to die if we don't..." she cried. "They were taken by the very same monster your parents follow."
Draco stiffened. He knew who she meant. He had overheard a few things at home during the holiday break and the fact that she's trying to go and face him made his heart sink.
"We have to go save him... please...he's in danger, Draco. I don't want him to die.." she whispered.
"What about me?" He said breathlessly. Looking deeply into her eyes, "Someone who is very important to me is about to go face great danger. I need to keep her safe." He raised his hand to wipe her tears. "Please don't go... I don't know what I would do if anything happened to you..."
Céline's lip quivered as she looked at him. She didn't know what to say. He stared at her for a moment, the look in her eyes told him that her mind was set and then sighed.
"There's no winning with you is there?" he said grimly, he pulled out Harry's wand from his pocket and gave it to her. He felt sick to his stomach letting her go. "You'd better return to me."
More tears fell, as she nodded. She leaned up and kissed him, which he returned deeply. When she pulled away she looked in his eyes, "Je t'a—."
"Céline, we've got to go!" Ginny's voice came through the door. She looked at the door and back to him. Draco's eyes had slightly widened. He wanted her to finish her sentence because it almost sounded like she was going to say—
"I'll be back." She said, before turning and disappearing through the door.
She looked at the four of them who were watching her carefully.
"Let's go." She said quietly, giving Ron Harry's wand. They all started running out of the castle, they had seen Harry and Hermione go into the Forbidden Forest with Umbridge from the window, so they made their way the tree line past Hagrid's cabin.
