Céline woke up early on the day of the trial to get herself ready, or rather than waking up, Céline didn't sleep at all the night before the trial. She was grateful for the company of the Weasleys and her friends, but as the day grew nearer and nearer, she felt like not even them being there was making her anxiety go away.
She checked herself over in her mirror once more before heading down to the kitchen. She wore her usual style of clothes, a creamy-pink colors blouse with peasent sleeves and on top of it she wore one of her dark red plaid pinafore dresses. She combed through her long wavy hair and let it fall down to her waist.
When she got down to the kitchen she saw Mr. and Mrs. Weasley sitting by the island drinking some tea.
"Good morning, dear." Mrs. Wealsey greeted her with a warm smile and came over for a quick hug. "How did you sleep last night?"
"I didn't." Céline said sheepishly. "I'm too nervous. But it's alright, I'm not tired." She lied. She was actually exhausted, but she was sure that the bags under her eyes made Mrs. Weasley think the same thing.
"Come on, I'll make you some tea to calm the nerves." Mrs. Weasley said walking over to the pot of tea.
"Good morning, Céline dear." Mr. Weasley said in his usual bright self. He was of course happier than usual, because he had recently been promoted by the new Minister of Magic. Promoted to Head of Office for the Detection and Confiscation of Counterfeit Defensive Spells and Protective Objects. "I do wish I could escort you to the trial today, but I'll be out in the field straight away today."
"Its alright, Mr. Wealsey. I appreciate it though." Céline politely as she sat down next to him. She checked her watch and it was now a quarter to eight. A mug floated down onto the counter in front of her and she watched as Mrs. Weasley flicked her wand at the teapot and it rose and floated over. It tipped over to pour a steaming stream of tea into the empty mug under it. "Thank you."
Just then Telly walked into the kitchen followed by Professor Dumbledore in his long black traveling cloak and pointed hat.
"Good morning, everyone." Dumbledore greeted pleasantly.
"Albus, good morning." Mr. Weasley greeted with a smile.
"Good morning, would you like some tea, Albus?" Mrs. Weasley asked.
"That would be wonderful, Molly, but it would have to be saved for another time perhaps." Said Dumbledore. He looked at Céline who was looking at him nervously. "I would like to assume you've had a decent rest, Miss Céline?"
"I— er no, Professor. I can honestly say I might be sick from the nerves." She said truthfully.
"I figured as much. Harry felt the same way when we went to his trial last year." Dumbledore said warmly. "Well, my dear, I believe it's best we head off now. We mustn't be late."
Céline's faced paled. Now she felt even worse. Mrs. Weasley came over and gently patted Céline in the back.
"Don't worry my dear." She said, looking at her with a warm motherly gaze. "you'll be alright. We'll be here waiting for you to get back and once you do, we'll all head back to the Burrow."
Céline stood up from her stool and hugged her tightly. "Thank you." She waved to them and followed Dumbledore to the living room.
